Ugh. As Sharon is on the phone arranging with Jack for him to stop by and pick up some of his things and talk, she cuts him off to take a call from Nick. Nick asks her to do a shoot for Beauty of Nature and she jumps on the chance. "Anything for you, Sharon".
Phyllis tells Nick that she was in Paris for the cover shoot! He had thought that the cover was an excellent photo shop job but she corrects him. says no, she was IN Paris.
CL has some plumbing issues and Kevin wants to spend Mrs/ C's money to fix it, Jana has some scruples about it, Kevin asks her if Amber got to her.
Daniel surprises Amber with the keys to Sabrina's old gallery - her new designer's studio.
Murphy and Marge/Kay, as she still finds it very strange that her name is Marge and she's an alcoholic.
Mike and Lowell in court, Mike makes his case to the judge that Lowell is a man of peace. blah, blah. Meanwhile Jeff tells Gloria that she'll be VERY sorry if she goes to court and defends Lowell. She holds fast says her son needs her. Jeff holds up the jar of tainted cream as a warning to her of what's at stake and if she takes the stand today, she'll be the one going to jail.
Nick is baffled as Phyllis tells him that her trip to Paris was a whirlwind one, that the magazine needed her there and she barely had time to pack her toothbrush, and freaky, huh, that they were both there at the same time. She won't even look at him as she talks., avoids eye contact completely, then takes a magazine related call.
Amber is excited about the studio but fusses about crashing and burning like she had done before, but this time as a tribute to Mrs. C she will make it work! Daniel assures her this time it'll be a joint effort.
Kevin convinces Jana that it would be okay to use Mrs. C's money to re-plumb the coffee house. Sort of, lol.
Gloria appears in the courtroom.
Jack arrives at his house. Sharon disappoints him by saying that yes, she does want to talk, but about telling Noah that they aren't together any more. Sad Jack.
Nick wants Phyllis to stop with all the business, they have to talk, and he sends away the RS staff. He can see in her eyes that there's a LOT more to her not telling him about Paris, and what? Do they have secrets now? She asks "do we have secrets?" then adds "I saw you on the bridge kissing Sharon". Nick's jaw drops.
Nick says "I'm sorry, so sorry. I know how you must have felt". Phyllis says she doesn't even know how she got back to the hotel, she can't remember. Then she took a flight home, then he came home and all was normal. He never said anything and they made love, he still loved her. She just wanted to forget about it and now he's making her talk about it. She is almost in tears and he feels really bad about it all. Amber and Daniel arrive at RS and interrupt Nick's explanation to Phyllis. Daniel announces that he and Amber are quitting their jobs. Good scene with Phyllis and Daniel as she tries to help him financially but he refuses.
Marge/Kay offers her help to Murphy for a fund raiser he's involved in, surprises him with her energy.
Lauren and Eden arrive at the courthouse now too. Nice little exchange between Lauren and Gloria. Jeff shows up! Gloria looks mortified but enters the courtroom anyway when Mike calls her and takes the stand, testifies that Lowell was a man of peace, blah, blah. Jeff looks disgusted. Lowell's chin quivers as Gloria speaks glowingly of him. The prosecutor accuses her of cooking up this testimony. Cold stares between Gloria and Jeff. WOW!! Good acting from JC as she explains how she was forced to lie to save her son. Quite touching. Jeff stalks out of the room, pissed off royally.
Murphy tells Kay about his past, his wife who died, his kids, how she and Pearl helped him get through the bad times as he spent a lot of time then at the diner. He decided to continue his wife's charitable work after that.
Kevin overhears Amber blathering on to Daniel about how he (Kevin) could have killed Mrs. C. He says AHEM right behind her head.
Jack and Sharon break the news to Noah about the split up. Kid is really upset, but says it's not as bad as the last time, which really upsets Sharon who's now in tears. Noah stomps off to his room.
Sad and touching scene with Nick and Phyllis. She realises that Sharon stopped the kiss, Nick says it was only a second before he would have, then defends Sharon for a sec, oops, Phyllis didn't like that (dumb guy). Nick is wracked with guilt and Phyllis is reliving her hurt.
Nick swears he loves her, only her. She can't get that bridge out of her mind. It was a mistake, he is so sorry, it'll never happen again, nothing like that ever again. He takes her in his arms and as they hug her face is washed with enormous relief. Phew!
Gloria's testimony is over. The judge re enters the courtroom, all rise. Lowell is released from custody into the care of his son pending the clearing of the case. Whoops of joy all around.
Jeff pours himself a very stiff drink, gulps it down, then smears the tainted cream all over his face.

Mike to Gloria says that Jeff doesn't have anything over her any more. Kevin pipes up "except the face cream".
Victor asks Adam to help him go after Jack Abbott.
Jack tells Phyllis that Sharon isn't interested in going after her husband. Phyllis replies "then why did I see them kissing on a bridge in Paris?'.
Good grief! I was just reading the day ahead thing at SOC and the new person recapping had her own take on the exchange between Jack and Phyllis in the preview, spawning all kinds of replies about Phyllis being such a trouble-maker, blah, blah. Jack goaded her and she responded by blurting out about the kiss.
That's such a problem there and it happens almost every day. It's awfully easy to misinterpret something and make a mistake, it's quite another to put one's own spin on the actual events when doing a recap.
I think Nick will have to give Phyllis a bit of a free pass on her charge card bill thing with Jack and Sharon now that he knows about her seeing that kiss. He ought to know how hurt and desperate Phyllis must have felt after that and that HE was partly to blame for it. I really do not like the prospect of Nick and Sharon reuniting at all.
