Nick was on a day off yesterday when the gondola tower directly outside his apartment building collapsed, stranding hundreds of people on the mountain. Evacuation took place for hours, the mountain was closed down. Thank goodness he called us and left a voice mail that he wasn't on the hill and that all was fine for him before we got home last night and turned on the news. We spoke briefly later on. I've linked a short news coverage that Nick and his Kiwi assistant shot late last night.
Other than that, and a dump of snow here overnight, all is fairly quiet. Mike and his band are stuck in a snow storm between Montreal and St. John, New Brunswick. Donchall just love winter?
Well I found out why I was unusually tired yesterday. I have a bit of a flu bug running through my body. So I am at home again today with the hopes of spending most of the day in bed.
Kae I am so happy that Nick was not involved in that mess. How scary
I have tried sleeping but with no luck. I am going to head to the shower in a minute but wanted to pop in first.
I am heading down to VA on Friday after work. Decided that I would drive as far as I can and then stop for the night and finish my drive on Saturday. Should be an easy way to break it up.
