So I woke up this morning with ice literally all around my car. I have never had to attempt to scrape ice off my windows before. Anyone have advice on how to do it easier?
I tried to load my pictures last night but for some reason couldn't get it to come up. Grr....I am sleepy. It seems like I alternate sleep, one night I get good sleep and the next I don't get any. I will be so happy when these babies are out and I am no longer pregnant.
Whats new with everyone here? Where has Jodi been lately? Anyone heard from the long lost Jessica, or even Tess?
It's bleak here too, snowing that heavy wet stuff that is such a pain to shovel. Shelly, the easiest way to de-ice a car is to run it for several minutes with the front and rear window heaters on full blast. Then use the windshield wipers for a couple of minutes, then your snow brush and scraper. It helps a LOT to have a second set of keys so that you can lock your car and go back inside while letting it run and heat up. Around here it's called a de-icing theft and it happens all the time when some poor sod decides to leave his car running unattended and unlocked while he goes in the house for five minutes or so.
No, I haven't heard a word from Tess or Jodi or Jessica. Jodi has cycles of crazy busy, so I'm not worried about her at all. Jess has abandoned us before for months and comes back for a few weeks out of the blue. Tess and I are on the same forward list from Anonymous Fan and we get stuff from her regularly, but I have had no contact with her personally.
I'm taking another stay-at-home day. No way do I want to navigate around town in this messy weather. Ted spent almost 2 hours this morning clearing the driveway and Chloe's pee-path and he's just in the shower now, then off to Tony's office before heading downtown on the subway. I suspect he won't be home until at least 7 tonight given his late start.
It's a very gray day here too, and raining for the second day. I despise winter, but I'm not complaining yet because I'm reveling in the holiday aftermath when I don't have to shop, wrap, decorate, and cook nonstop. Instead, I'm embracing my "inner January"... LOL!!
Lucy is snoring behind me.
Shelly, maybe your inability to post those pictures is an omen that they shouldn't be posted! Just saying...

Okay, well its on the GH board anyways and just kind of curious. I kind of get annoyed when some of the posters there do things that I know aren't allowed on other boards. Like quoting entire posts...Or quoting the first post...Ugh
We're in the mid 50s today in Boulder and pretty windy. I got some messages from Jodi on Facebook and I tried to get a hold of Jess the other day but nothing back so far.
