In the book store,Billy and Cane chat about Kay's book and the charity the proceeds will go to. Cane accuses Billy of dating his ex for ulterior motives.
Kevin tells Mike that he is all settled up with the (Katherine's) money business but doesn't specify.
Kay's excited that she found a way to track Nikki through her association with RS. Murphy, meanwhile, flips through the rest of the money he has left from Kevin. She and Murphy are thrilled as they are sure Nikki will recognise her and she can have her life back again.
Phyllis grumbles that she has to use Amber's designs on the RS cover, will be so glad when Nick is back from NY tonight. BUT, oops, Nick will be stuck in NY with Sharon because a buyer for BON wants to hang out with them for the evening. Nick's not pleased, Sharon says Phyllis will understand. (Who didn't see that one coming, lol?)
Photo shoot for RS cover, Amber arrives with the "perfect outfit" for Daniel, a black fake leather jacket and Phyllis hates it, lol. Nick calls Phyllis with the news that he had to book a later flight, will be home before she goes to bed. Phyllis is a bit bugged but pretended to be okay with it. At the NYC dinner with Sharon, Nick and the buyer, Michael calls Sharon back as she asks him to start the paperwork for her divorce from Jack. Michael has a chuckle over that news after he hangs up.
Kay knocks on Nikki's door at GCAC (??), Nikki opens, says OMG.
Cane fields a reporter's questions about Jabot and Billy, does a fairly good job.
Gah. The buyer with Nick and Sharon asks lots of questions about how Nick and Sharon met in high school. Ugh. Knowing glances back and forth. Ugh.
Daniel looks ridiculous all dolled up for the shoot, says he can't do this.
Kevin tells Mike about giving $63,000 to Murphy for the bail out. Mike chastises him for being so stupid giving it to a couple of con artists. Kevin just nods as he believes the woman IS Katherine.
Phyllis argues with Daniel and Amber over the cover shoot. Amber intervenes and convinces Daniel to go ahead and pose for the pictures, thanks Amber from Phyllis.
Back to Nick, Sharon and the buyer as Nick flashes back to asking Sharon to marry him, to presenting her with their home on the ranch, to Noah's birth. Ugh.
Billy's turn on the reporter's hot seat and he does a competent job as well.
Murphy enters CL and gives Kevin back the rest of the money ($38,000) and leaves.
Kay has coffee with Nikki who is struggling with the shock of seeing Kay. Kay explains the circumstances of the crash and all but that she can't remember many parts of her life nor does she have memories of their friendship. Nikki sits up straight, begins to have serious doubts about Kay's true identity.
Kay tries to explain to Nikki that although she has no memories of Nikki and their friendship she has this feeling that it's real. OOPS! Nikki turns on Kay, calls her Marge and a cruel, uncaring bitch.
The buyer wants Nick and Sharon to stay overnight to meet the person in charge of the purchase, both of them if they want to make the sale. Nick says he can't. Sharon agrees to stay alone, buyer insists both must be there. (I don't like this story. It's just so predictable. Boo!!)
Cane asks Billy if he's been honest with Lily, tense exchange as Cane calls Billy the most self-centred bastard he's ever seen. (All this over Lily.)
Mike and Kevin argue about Katherine and her con man buddy. Kevin insists it's really Katherine, Mike says his instincts tell him otherwise. Michael stops Murphy as he's about to walk out of CL and offers to represent his friend pro bono. Murphy looks intrigued and somewhat pleased.
RS shoot is done and Phyllis, Amber and Daniel go to CL. Amber says she can't go in, Kevin killed Mrs. C and now he's going to kill her.
Nikki takes out her cheque book and gives Kay money to get the hell out of here. Horrible, as she yells "get out, get out". A sad and dejected Katherine slowly walks away. Nikki is furious. (I didn't see whether Kay kept the cheque.)
Back at the trailer, Kay is heartbroken. Murphy bursts in with the great news about Michael. Kay breaks him the news about Nikki, Murphy gives her a pep talk about proving who she is. She says she has to find a way of doing that while not hurting the people she loves. Nikki has flashbacks to her early friendship with Katherine, sobs.
More Cane and Billy exchanging insults. Whoa! Cane socks Billy and they scuffle.
Silly Amber calls the police to report a murder (Kevin's of Mrs. C.) because there was a little temper fit from Kevin over a plumbing charge. (Michael gave the plumber cash to cover it, although I don't know quite where it came from. It was $5000. Kevin has no knowledge of it as Mike did it privately and told the plumber that he should tell Kevin he'd had a change of heart and that it was for free this time.)
Phyllis gets the call from Nick about staying in NYC, asks Mike to calm her down after she hangs up. Mike spills the beans about Sharon's divorce from Jack. Phyllis' face falls a mile.
In NYC, Sharon and Nick go into their separate rooms at the hotel but first, Sharon tells him that she is divorcing Jack, didn't want him to hear it from someone else.

Billy tells Jack he has no regrets. Jack asks "like blocking out that Chloe is carrying your baby and not Cane's?"
Lily tells Cane that she likes Billy. Cane answers that she might trust Billy but he does not.
Nick asks Sharon what it was that pushed her over the edge (concerning Jack, no doubt).
I feel sad for Kay, I do hope that someone besides Kevin sees her and realizes that she really is the real thing. It is weird that Kevin would see it and not Nikki..
Nikki's a mess these days. When she isn't snarking to Ashley about Victor, she's making her lemon faces at Phyllis. I think she actually DID believe it was her old friend there for a while today but fell back into her defensive position when Kay "failed" her test about the phone call she had made to Katherine from Mexico. Nikki prompted Kay several times, but the memories were not there at all, and Nikki assumed it was because it was too recent for Katherine to have included it in her memoirs, and Kay/Marge admitted that it was from that book that she learned that she and Nikki were close friends.
On the other hand, Kevin has no axe to grind with Katherine being alive, no personal feelings to be hurt if the woman had no recollection of him. Gloria is just working the angles, as usual. While she's pretty darn sure the woman is Katherine, she has to make sure that SHE, Gloria, doesn't get shafted because of it.
