More snow again today. Argh. Chloe ate Ted's toast that he left on the front hall credenza while he was out cleaning off the cars. I heard a hearty burp and found her licking her chops.
Here are a couple of photos I sent Mike who is enjoying beautiful summer weather in Auckland.
Christine and I are going to the Winterlicious Festival today, lunch at the Old Mill. What's up today?
Well someone murmured that dirty word Nor'easter yesterday, not sure if thats what we are getting but they said its snowing good outside now. Yuck. I am so ready for this stuff to be gone. I am stuck at work still with an actual good amount of work to do. Fun fun.
I love your pictures, snow is definitely pretty. Its definitely prettier then the dead grass that is hiding underneath. And poor Ted, I hope he had time to make some more before he had to head out.
Christine just called to say she'd pick me up at 11:45, so it's time for me to try to glam up a bit and see if I can make an outfit that includes my hip waders.
Ted never learns! I always leave his breakfast things on the top of the toaster for the very reason that Chloe can reach onto counters so easily, but in his haste to get out the door, he moved his toast to the hallway and it was as if he had invited doggie to share. He'll have to get a little something at Starbucks today to get him through the rest of the morning.
We got a smidgen of snow yesterday, but the sun is out and shining bright today. I'm working from home today, and the noise of these workers putting new siding up on the apartment is driving me out of my mind.
I will work until 3, then I have to head off to the school for a meeting with the principal, school psychologist and special ed staff.
Ack! Am stuffed. We went for the buffet and had roast beef and lamb curry with chocolate mousse dessert. Then almost the entire 22 division of the Toronto police turned up and swarmed the place so we beat a quick retreat before finishing tea. It must have been their annual winter lunch on the town. We did feel safe, though.
Hello. Glad you had a nice lunch Kae! And were well protected, LOL.
Well, meeting didn't happen today. Apparently the school had a mixup and the meeting is not until tomorrow, so Jack's suspended another day. Sigh...I wish things were easier...
