It's Valentines Day. Sharon stops by the tack house to talk to Nick about Noah and the alcohol and Phyllis keeps up her sweetness and light act. Mike and Lauren also plan on talking to Eden as soon as she gets home from school but she and Noah are at CL kissing and giggling.
Esther tells Roger she can't marry him today because of the possibility that Mrs. C might be alive. Jill looks on, all pleased.
Lily and Cane run into one another at CL, talk about the news at Jabot and Cane figures Billy found a way to manipulate his mother. Chloe visits Billy at the big Jabot office, accuses him of stealing first Cane's woman and then his job, and then makes him laugh when she says he still has feelings for her (Chloe).
Katherine and Murphy stop by the diner so she can both quit her job there and announce to the staff that she isn't Marge, she is Katherine Chancellor.
Jill accuses Roger of just wanting Esther's money (and of course, she's right) but poor Esther decides they should leave for LV anyway.
Billy and Chloe again. He calls her on coming to see him because she wants to learn if he has feelings for her while she claims to "have it all" with Cane. He sees right through her and she denies it. Meanwhile, back at CL, Cane and Lily argue about her interest in Billy. She lets it slip that she and Billy are already lovers, Cane is aghast, lol. She stomps off after telling him to get over it.
Chloe calls Billy a son of a bitch, same selfish jerk he always was. He apologises, she has a contraction or something. She tells him he only thinks of the baby as a bullet he dodged, he answers that, hey, he isn't father material.
Eden, back home with Lauren and Mike, admits she was just now with Noah. They confront her about the booze. "Oh, that."
Noah arrives at the tack house. Nick tells him the games stop now, all the lying, sneaking around, the breaking of rules, it all stops now.
Jill tries to get Esther to change her mind about eloping.
Oh, oops, Kay isn't at the diner, Pearl and the owner are at the trailer. Hugs as Kay explains she isn't going to be working there but will see them both often.
Mike lays into Eden about stealing booze. Kid pouts, says she feels terrible about all of it.
Noah defends himself, arguments ensue, blah, blah. Nick says no more Eden for Noah.
(Shelly, I had to pause for 45 minutes to take a call and now it's lunch time. I'll get back to this when I can.)
Lily and Billy get ready to leave for their trip to the cabin, all happy.
Mike and Lauren give Eden the decree from Nick that she must not see Noah. They break it gently, more or less.
Okay, I'll try this again. Lots of teen angst from Noah, lippy accusations to Nick, Phyllis intervenes somewhat, blah, blah. (I'm not really into this teenage angst story, so forgive me if I slip over it. It's really all about Phyllis using the situation, in a very round about way, to make a point to Nick that everybody deserves a second chance to do over mistakes etc. Nick comes off looking like a complete dope, long speechless stares. Ugh.)
Cane returns home to Chloe, gets all domestic, wants to finish hanging pictures in the nursery. He's bummed by Lily and Billy's trip and the Jabot thing.
Lily and Billy coo at each other getting ready for their trip.
More Noah with P,N and S. Kid pleads for some sensible reactions from the adults. Sharon needs air, P goes with her, leaving Nick and Noah together. Kid accuses his dad of fooling around with his mother, he should get his own act together and leave him alone.
Phyllis advises Sharon that she and Nick need to teach Noah how to take care of himself, not smother him. Sharon smells a rat with Phyllis being kind, asks her what's the price of this advice. P says "play nice with me, and I'll play nice with you".
Things don't go well with Nick and Noah as Nick threatens kid with boarding school. Noah says send him to China for all he cares, he can't make him stay there. Enter Phyllis, wide eyed when she hears it.
Kay and Murphy cuddle and discuss her going home, what to expect, etc. She wants to keep him as much a part of her life in GC as she has there in the trailer. He's concerned he won't fit in. Very sweet. His eyes twinkle! She's ready to go home, it's time.
Esther breaks the news to Roger that she has changed her mind yet again and can't marry him today because of Katherine. He claims to understand, slithers out, calls Clint. Clint tells him to get rid of the problem (Kay/Marge) as she'll bugger up their plans. Jill calls Paul, orders a complete background check on Roger Wilkes.
last few minutes....
Cane and Chloe. He says their little girl is the most important thing in the world to him. KISS, sort of, both pull away at the last second. look embarrassed, perplexed.
Nick thanks Phyllis for her help today, for being the voice of reason.
Noah calls Eden, he loves her, she loves him too.
Next:
Billy tells Lily that the baby Choe is carrying is his, not Cane's. Chloe accidently walks in and hears him.
Jill learns that the DNA results are in.
Sharon asks Nick if he has made his decision, that he is working things out with Phyllis, right? He does his dumb bunny stare, says nothing.
