Cane hold "his " baby, thanks Lily and Billy for their help last night.
Kid lawyer tells Karen and Neil that the judge stopped Yolanda's parental rights over Anna. Karen's all excited.
Doc says Chloe's in bad shape but she's on antibiotics, worst case scenario is she'll go into septic shock, die. Esther gasps. (She's not a very good actress, is she?)
Jack arrives at Jabot's offices, Ashley gives him the board seat at NE news. Jack's not pleased.
Victor has flashback to dancing with Hope, looks through her braille stuff, picks up picture of Adam. Over to Adam in GC jail talking to some minister about his childhood and his mother. (SO good to see Adam again!!!) He goes on to tell the story about how he no longer has any family, all have abandoned him now.
Ashley argues with Jack about the board seat and about Victor using her. She stomps off, all indignant.
Flashback to Hope's death as Victor and Adam watch over her. Hope, in her dying words, asks the two men to make peace.
Chloe thanks Billy and Lily for saving her life and the baby too. Uncomfortable Billy as he looks on Chloe cooing over the baby. Duh, Cane is bonding big time with the child. Billy finally has had enough and leaves the room.
Karen apologises to Neil for asking the lawyer to start the adoption papers before checking with him. He says they need to check this all out with Tyra first. Over at CL, Tyra and Olivia yap about how Tyra should have said something to Neil BEFORE he got married and Liv emphasises that now that he is married, he's off limits. Tyra's not convinced.
Lily rants at Billy for not taking responsibility for Chloe's baby, for not stepping up, says he has to tell Cane the truth NOW, before he bonds any further, and if he doesn't, she'll have to tell him herself.
Tyra turns up at Neil's. Gush and peh. (He called her to talk about Anna.)
Ashley at Victor's office. He says he remembered about Hope asking him on her deathbed to take care of Adam. She defends Adam, tells Victor he is all that Adam has now.
Why are they remembering Hope all of a sudden. Has it been a year already?
Yeah, a whole year.
Lily asks Cane if he meant what he said to her in the woods last night, that he loves her and wants to be with her. He can't talk about this right now and she takes it to be a NO. He wants to know what's going on between Chloe and Billy, is that why she was at the cabin? Lily says that's something he should ask Chloe and Billy about.
Billy's off getting drunk, very drunk, at Jimmy's bar. He has a vision of Chloe asking him why he hates her so much, along comes Jack, shocked to see Billy there instead of at the office. (Billy called Jack to come for him.)
Back to Adam in jail with Victor visiting him. Poor Adam! Good scene. (Yes, the anniversary of Hope's death.) Victor congratulates Adam for telling Victor to bugger off! "Didn't think you had it in you."
Cane tells his mom that 24 hours ago he was ready to leave Chloe for Lily, all changed now. His feeling for Lily don't matter now, only his commitment to his new family.
Drunk Billy blithers on to Jack about the mess with the baby and Chloe, Cane, Lily, etc. Jack urges him to face the music not drown his guilt. That baby is an Abbott and Billy needs to raise her.
Tyra and Neil again. She wants to adopt Anna, puts Neil on the spot because Karen wants to do the same.
I've missed Adam too, Too bad they have messed up my Adam appreciation with a heavy dose of Tyra. Blech.
Fluff scene with Abby and Ashley, talk about the dead dads, that kid doesn't see Victor as her father the way that Brad was.
Victor and Adam. V likes that prison has made him develop a backbone, then warns him with that Victor stare, "don't ever talk to me like that again". (I'm surprised Victor didn't say "You got that", LOL.)
Last few minutes...
More Tyra and Neil going on about adoption of Anna. She drops the ILY bomb then kisses him and in walks Karen to see Neil responding to Tyra's kiss. Big time.
The counterfeiter guy (Frank) approaches Adam in jail (both inmates, and they appear to have made friends with one another). Adam says he can't take this any more, can he please get for him that stuff they talked about.
Cane names the baby "Cordelia Katherine Valentine Ashby". Lily pouts.
Good Jack with Billy scene!!! "Billy, she is your daughter. Stake your claim."

Drunk Billy at the hospital in a little tussle with Cane as Cane tells him he isn't going anywhere near his daughter. Billy says "Your daughter, your daughter??"
