Victoria objects to Victor putting Ashley on the board. He's doing exactly the same thing he did before with Sabrina, putting his new family ahead of the business. Victor bristles and tells her to leave Sabrina out of this.
A very hung over Sharon wakes up, remembers her romp last night with Billy. Nick knocks on her door, she scrambles for a robe. She sobs, breaks down when he tells her of course he knew yesterday was their anniversary.
Jack urges Billy again about claiming the baby for himself before Cane takes over completely. (Too late for that, lol. Cane already has.) And btw, Lily is still hanging around Chloe's hospital room. Still!
Karen meets with Neil about going ahead with the adoption. HMMM. Karen knows about Tyra and Neil's kiss but says NOTHING!! She wants Neil to talk to Tyra asap. (Cagey Karen, non?)
Big Jack and Billy scene as he lectures him about how his actions affect everyone's lives. He has a remorseful flashback to his night with Sharon, calls himself a dog.
More Nick and Sharon as he says he came to check in on her when she didn't return his calls. She sends him off, they agreed not to lean on one another, right? Wll, he's there for her anyway. Nick leaves, Sharon sobs.
Victor and Victoria continue to disagree about Ashley on the board, she says her appointment with any consultation was a slap in the face to both her and Nick. Meanwhile, Jack counsels Colleen on how to deal with the NE board meeting, that Victor likes to pound his chest and pontificate, but in the end, he won't be able to touch her, remember that.
Billy apologises to Lily about disappointing her last night. He's at the hospital now, says he's there to tell the truth about the baby. Lily doesn't believe Chloe will be able to tell Cane the truth, it will break his heart. But at that very moment, Chloe DOES tell him that Cordelia is not his. In comes Billy. Cane tells him to get out but he says no. (Chloe did NOT name Billy as the father yet.)
At Indigo, Karen approaches Neil AGAIN about talking to Tyra about the adoption. In struts Tyra, all smiles and flirtatious shrugs to Neil. Karen watches, narrows her eyes.
Victoria talks to Nick about the Ashley board seat, how suspicious it is that their father handed Ashley that seat when after all the years their mother had been a loyal slave to NE, he never would give her one. Nick agrees it is highly suspect. Victor enters, the board meeting is to begin.
Oh oh. Cane isn't taking this huge news too well. Billy actually steps up!!
Karen tells Tyra Neil told her to go ahead and start the adoption papers. Tyra plays it cool. (Again, cagey Karen!!) Along comes Anna, hugs and obnoxious gushes as Tyra greets her.
Sharon lets Jack into her room at GCAC. He checks it out, sees that she had herself a little party last night, just like his brother Billy did too. She says to him that she really messed up. He's there to help, no strings. (Jack has put two and two together.)
Cane rants. Billy vows that he had no idea, that when he suspected, Chloe denied it completely. Chloe takes all the blame, admits to switching the sonogram, to lying to Billy, to him, to everyone. Enter Lily. Cane goes at her for knowing about this and not telling him. "I couldn't."
Board meeting. Victor presents a plaque to the hero Bradley Carlton, from the NE board, to Colleen and Abby. Victor announces Ashley's appointment, asks for the board's approval. Colleen interrupts! "I have something to say." (Bets she inherited her father's board chair?)
Cane announces that Cordelia is HIS daughter and no one is taking her away from him. (He does have the legal rights to the child, that part's very true.)
Tyra fixates on her kiss with Neil rather than on Anna talking to her. Tyra fakes feeling woozy, as soon as the social worker leaves to get her a glass of water, she takes off with Anna.
Jack convinces Sharon to confide in him, comforts her, holds her.
Heh, Colleen cites articles (some legalese) about how she is entitled to her father's board seat (Ashley is SHOCKED!!!!)and out of respect for her father, she is going to take it on. Victor tries to blah blah her, she fires back that she is not going anywhere. YAY!!!!
Cane signs the birth certificate papers a nurse brings him. Chloe was taken out for tests. Cane is now legally the father!! Chloe's wheeled back into the room and realises what just took place.
Lily finds Billy drinking breakfast in Jimmy's bar. She calls him a coward and a jerk, not even a fraction of the man his brother is, can take his feelings for her and shove them. Lily flounces off. Billy takes a long pull from the beer bottle.

Roger tells Esther that he got the county clerk to waive the waiting period and they can get married today.
Colleen tells Victor that she has every right to this seat. He asks her if she knows what she's getting herself into (in a patronising, typical Victor way).
Kay points out to Annie that there would be no reason for her kidnapping unless she was indeed Katherine Chancellor. Annie's eyes shoot up from her knitting.
Oh, I loved it when Colleen shocked them all the way she did by claiming her right (according to 53 bylaws) to her father's place on the board. Wait till you see Ashley's face. Priceless!!
I love too that Jack is out-smarting Victor and Ashley. Now that Colleen has seen what a spiteful guy Victor can be, she's happy to be on Jack's side because at the end of the day, it's on her dad's side as well. Brad made it very clear that he was really unhappy about Ashley's relationship with Victor.
