Chilly Sunday...

Hey all! It's a tad chilly here, but it supposed to warm to 50 or so today.

I'm bundling up under the covers and reading some good books, and will watch the race later on.

Any good plans?

Well they are talking about 10+ inches of snow today. I hope that we don't have that much but only time will tell. Its been flurrying since about 8 this morning but nothing too exciting.

Found out today that my church is throwing us a diaper shower. So that is just awesome. The thought of diapers for twins makes my head hurt.

Staying bundled under covers sounds like a good idea Jojo

Sounds cozy, jojo!!

We're bracing for a snowstorm (we've already had a little powdering), and have stocked up on food. My son and I are still doubtful that we're going to get as much as predicted (up to 12 inches), but anything's possible, I suppose!

What are you reading, jojo?

How ya feelin', KaeEll?

I'm still recovering from yesterday's class. There were only eight of us, all club members but one, and we had SO much fun! We all came away with some cool tricks, tips, and other tidbits. We were all enormously envious of Judi's dedicated work space. I wish.......

So far this morning, Jim and I have watched our usual CBS Sunday Morning, and our son came by to pick up a bunch of his returned dry cleaning. I'm about to read my Sunday morning Joggles newsletter, and will make some beef stew later. Other than that, I think it's going to be a "veg" day.

Oh hey, Shelly! I just saw your post. You must be getting the same snow we're getting.

Hope everyone is staying nice and warm today. We have sunshine but it's nippy at -11C. And we're staying in. Tony brought his little tribe over yesterday for a couple of hours and it whacked me right out. I fell asleep before 9!! Then I was up at 6 this morning, so I'm all screwed up. My sweet neighbour dropped by with her 3 year old yesterday too. She brought us another The Keg gift card for bringing in all their mail while they were in St. Martin's for a month in February. They do have great prime rib there. Do you have any The Keg's in your neck of woods? It's a steak house chain.

Shelly, fantastic news about the shower! All diapers? What a big help, huh? I remember way back when buying diapers really put a crimp in my weekly budget and now you're going to have twice as many.

Jojo, enjoy your race. How's Jackson doing?

Yum KaeEll. That looks like a good menu.

We don't have The Keg here, but in looking at their website, I noticed that they're all around the area of Arizona where our daughter lives. I'll have to ask her if she's been.

We're waiting until 4 o'clock when The Keg opens today to call and ask if we can take out from them tonight. I have no desire to go sit in a restaurant tonight hacking and wheezing but I'd love one of their dinners. If they say we can order and they'll pack it up for us, we'll have a Keg dinner tonight. Yum. Ted offered to go get it, bless his heart! I don't think he wants to bbq again tonight. He was out there last night in the freezing cold cooking pork chops. They were good but he was a cold guy by the time they were ready.

My friend in Alberta eats at the Keg, and it sounds so delish!!!! And with all the excitement from yesterday with all the kiddos, sounds like you need to rest up today, Kae.

Glad you had fun at your class Moore. It's always fun to get new ideas.

Shelly, a diaper shower sounds AWESOME. It's gotta be tough getting diapers for twins!

Jack is doing really well today. Just outside playing with friends.

Moore, I'm reading a series on faeries at the moment. I took a break from all the vamp stuff I was reading.
I'm really itching to re-read some of my favorite classics, and I'll be picking up Emma from the library this week.
I'm also going to check out either Madame Bovary or Anna Karenina.

Kae I hope you were able to get your steak dinner. Sounds wonderful. And Jojo is right, you deserve it after all those kids.

I just got done making meatloaf. Cooking it an extra 20 minutes or so just to be safe. I really need to get a more reliable thermometer.

Anyways, I hope you ladies are all having a great Sunday.
