Jana advises mopey Gloria that she's be a fool to go back to Jeffery. Amber comes along and all the women worry about Kevin who has been gone all night. Meanwhile, Kevin is screaming and pounding on the trunk lid form the inside. Painful awful scene with Clint, the grunting and squealing Kay and Esther, dimwit Roger, bug eyed Annie and the bomb. Argh.
Noah with Doris and Sharon at CL. Nothing much. Noah's smart enough to tell his mother that he has met another girl, not Eden, and is taking her for a ride in his shiny new car.
Nick and Phyllis kissing in foyer of GCAC, along come Victoria and JT, then Nikki who happened by but isn't going to join the rest for Victor's birthday dinner. Victoria is concerned that her father's relationship with Ashley is going to end badly as it always had in the past.
Paul questions Heather about her motives for wanting to help Adam. She says it's compassion, Paul says he doesn't deserve it, especially not from her. Shoot over to a very miserable Adam in jail.
Happy Victor at his bd dinner, restrain from the others there.
Sharon tells her mother they will spend all their time together now. Talk of her memory lapses, losing time, the guilt she feels about Brad...no one should have to deal with that all alone. As Sharon goes up to get more tea to replace the one she spilt (at CL) she almost pinches a cell phone from the counter and Doris sees it. Confrontation, Sharon in denial.
Gloria works on her plan to use Katherine when she's finally rescued, ticks off Jana who doesn't want to believe Kay is Kay. Amber is off to look for Kevin, pretends she is going home to bed so as not to worry Jana and Gloria.
More squealing and moaning at the motel. Bomb tick tock. Annie returns briefly to remove the muzzles on Kay and Esther. Kevin struggles to free himself from the trunk, has a flashback to Terrible Tom locking him up in a closet and has a melt down.
Abby at CL with her special organic chocolate cake from Belgium for Victor, meets Noah's new "girlfriend", his beard and Abby twigs to it. She'll keep quiet about the fake gf.
Awkwardness at Victor's bd party as all disperse leaving Ashley alone at the table. Nikki buttonholes Victor for a sec, a favour, please. She shows him an auction catalogue featuring Katherine's ring on the cover. She doesn't want something so precious to Kay to be pawed over by strangers. Would he intervene and get the ring off the auction block, please? Not that she is asking him to buy it, she certainly could, but the thing is, it's already really hers. He mumbles something, sounds like an agreement to help Nikki.
Heather visits Adam who is in rotten shape, squinting. She tries to help him with a lawyer's name, he is difficult, not accepting her efforts and calls for her to be removed.
Nick and Phyllis are back from their little quickie bed thing upstairs at GCAC, kiss in foyer again. He says this marriage means every thing to him, nothing will come between them again, kiss, kiss. Phyllis leaves, along comes Sharon (or maybe just Nick thinking she was there) saying "that's it, never again?"
Paul joins Nikki at GCAC. She tells him about Victor's nice gesture (re the ring), he asks if she thinks it's a trick. No, she doesn't, he has a heart after all.
Ashley and Victor. She's pregnant. Happy Victor.
Amber comes along to the motel room where Kay and Esther struggle, knock at the door, yelling back and forth, bomb tick tock, in bursts Amber with a maid's cart, unties Kay....over to Clint et al, Kevin screaming in the trunk, crying, total psychic break for poor KEvin.
Victor asks Ashley how this is even possible (her pregnancy - she IS a little long in the tooth for one pushing 50).
Paul expresses his major concern for Heather still in love with Adam, that he'll hurt her just as Victor had hurt Nikki so many times. Nikki philosophises.
Nick has a moment of "not being there" as Victor opens presents. Phyllis notices. He takes off. Victor makes the announcement that Ashley is pregnant. Victoria and JT are appalled.
Congratulations from Phyllis to victor and AShley, scowling from Victoria. Abby's okay with it.
Over to Adam, grim, alone. Heather's back to see him. He stumbles over a chair (obviously going blind).
Toasts and joy back at the bd party. Phyllis gets up to look for Nick who is at Sharon's door knocking. Uh oh. He enters, KISS KISS KISS KISS.
Clint opens the trunk, Kevin's a mess. Annie gives Kevin another shot of the drug. Bomb is about to go off. Screaming, untie Esther. Gloria shows up. Tick tock, tick tock, yelling. Kay stumbles on the maid's cart and the bomb goes off but Gloria, Esther and Amber made it out okay. (Gloria was the first out the door, lol, of course.)
