Two months in a row already. Eeeek. I guess that's what happens when we have a short February as we did this year.
Anyway, as a slight change from the Friday routine, I'm taking Ted to the subway at 10:30 then continuing along with everything else. I'll pick him up at 6 and tonight I think we'll order in as a treat.
Jim left early this morning for a trip to Chicago (job related), but will be back on Sunday morning. Unfortunatey, he also has to go directly into the office from the airport!
Our son took a VERY early morning flight from Baltimore, to Phoenix where he will meet up with AZ-D. Because of the time difference, they'll go back to her apartment (so he can see it), then have a little breakfast. If things work out, he'll also meet Kyle. Then they'll drive to Vegas for The Big Adventure.
I'm feeling a bit abandoned!! Anyway, the important thing is that everyone arrive safely, in their various destinations.

Not much going on here, just found out that Vinnie will be in Georgia from like the 30th of the month through the 20th of April. So we all need to pray that these babies don't decide that they are ready to make their debut early. Sometimes I really hate the Navy. I will be happy when we are in VA because then Vinnie will be on shore duty.
Kae I hope you can get through all of your Friday running around without too much stress. How did your stress test go anyways? Did you tell me and I forgot? If so I apologize my mind is all scattered lately.
Moore I am sorry for your quiet house. I think its funny that you, Kae and myself all have such travelers in our family. Someone is always getting on a plane to somewhere else. I hope AZ-D and your son have a great time in Vegas. So much to see there.
And yes Friday the 13th. Although I wasn't surprised, have you ever noticed that the days in February fall on the exact same days of the week as the ones in March?
I am not superstious. So, Friday the 13th doesn't mean much to me. Today is my son's 35th birthday. He is flying from Orlando to Cleveland after a week-long vacation. Weather-wise, he picked a good week. Sunny and lower 80's for high temps in Orlanda and cloudy and cold--30's--in Cleveland this past week.
Not superstitious, Linda? Good for you! I'm cautious, don't like tempting the fates.
Shelly, the stress/asthma clinic was good. I did a few tests and learned that the ideal score they had previously given me was off by 50 points and what I had been achieving was well within a decent range had I known of their mistake, but since I didn't, I thought I was doing badly. So THAT made me feel better, lol. The rest of it was positive reinforcement. It was well worth it, IMHO.
I'm home for a little break, back out there in half an hour and won;t really settle back here until the end of the day.
Oh, Shelly, our d-i-l went a hypnotherapist to help her carry to term. It didn't help HER, lol, but if the Navy picks it up for you, would you consider that? It's supposed to be effective.
I don't actually think I will have any issues. But with Jolene, Vinnie was not only out of town but was out of the country until the Friday before she was born...which was Monday. And I had bad blood pressure issues. So I just pray that him being gone doesn't make that happen. I mean really, 6 weeks isn't that long. Its kind of crazy actually.
And I am happy to hear about your test. That is good news
