It is cloudy, cool, and raining here. We have had rainy weather for the past three days. We were in the need for rain because before now, it hadn't rained in a long time. I think some people prayed too much for rain!
We're having a little rain here too, but just enough to create a cozy atmosphere. My husband is back from his trip, and we're having a quiet day. The dog is snoring!

And a happy Sunday to you too! It's gorgeous here today, sunny and well above freezing. I don't know the temperature but I just got home from a little shopping and nobody had coats on, so it's got to be above 10. YAY!! SPRING has sprung but not enough to put the shovels away and jinx it, lol.
Sundancer, it's so nice to have you as a regular visitor here. Moore and I have been the only OLD gals around for ages. The 3 of us all have grown up kids. Our eldest is the one with two kids and another on the way, middle son is currently on tour with his jazz/rock band, in Quebec City today, (I think) and youngest son is living in Whistler teaching skiing and helping get the place ready for the Olympics next winter. All 3 of them work for the family company as does my husband 10 hours a week.
Happy Sunday all. Its been a nice quiet day here. Had some nice sun and warmth. I was very happy to see my daffodils peaking out of the ground. So all is well here.
Found out today that the reason my friend Tricky is having such a hard time healing. Apparently she did get torn at some point during that last push and it took them an hour to stitch her back up. So that definitely explains why she is having such a hard time healing.
Had a ladies luncheon at church today, it was good. I always love these things and feel more spiritual afterwards.
Sundancer I also want to say how nice it is to have you as a more regular poster. As Kae said both her and Moore are the two older women with the kids the same age as some of us. Which is cool for me anyways because I always ask them tons of questions. Sometimes I actually come here for advice first before going to someone else. We swap recipes on here a lot too.

Thanks for making me feel welcome, everyone! Perhaps we can have a topic for recipes and household hints!?
Sundancer, we also had a sticky last summer to recommend good books, in the spirit of summer reading lists. It's not a sticky anymore either, but is still searchable.
And we trade recipes all the time! Jojo is the "Queen of Dips", and always provides us with recipes for really delicious ones. Now I'm hungry...

We should get someone (hint hint Brandon, Jodi or Jess) to do that for us. I was also thinking about digging up a survey since we have a new member. Its a fun way to learn more about one another
