Jack and Phyllis have nice conversation about RS, her new attitude with her marriage (she thanks Jack for his advice) and that Nick is sleeping in Noah's bedroom, but today is her wedding anniversary, doesn't think Nick remembered. Jack encourages her to give it all time. MJ shows up to help with the RS and Jabot collaboration for the bridal issue, notices Jack and Phyllis's easy rapport, makes a jealousy-inspired snark.
Ugh. Sharon shakes her head in dismay when Nick tells her he moved back home. (They are together to see Noah's school counsellor.)
Gloria and Jeff needle Jill as she sits alone with a drink at the GCAC bar. Today is Kay's wedding and Jeff and Gloria were not invited.
Victor tells Ashley that he believes Nikki planted that dress because she was jealous of Sabrina and now she is jealous of her. Ashley disagrees.
Heather gets all snotty to Michael and Paul because they found that gun and won't reveal their source of information. She surmises it was Amber who was aiding and abetting Kevin. They all get ballistics reports that the gun wasn't loaded but Heather is still in her prosecution mode anyway.
The Wedding! Daniel is taking the photos. Up in Kay's dressing room, Brock expresses his concern about Mac and Billy. Murphy asks Victor to be his best man, last minute and all. He accepts. (Kevin was supposed to stand up for Murphy but couldn't make it.)
Jack invites MJ at the last minute to be his date for Katherine's wedding. Jack scoots off for a minute leaving MJ and Phyllis to have a little chat. MJ says to P that marriages can be disappointing when you learn that your prince is actually a toad and you end up doing things you are ashamed of later. (Hmmm, eh?)
Jill is getting royally drunk, mouths off to Jeff and Gloria about Victor unloading that stock on her when he KNEW Kay was Kay. Jeff suggests they teach Victor a lesson, lol. All 3 are hitting the booze pretty hard by now.
Sharon tells Noah she is getting therapy, she is looking for a place to live and for now he can live with his dad. She has a dizzy spell. (Pregnant??)
Nick arrives with flowers for Phyllis, Happy Anniversary, gives her a "Get out of Jail Free" card, supposed to be funny but P isn't really amused. Awkwardness as they recall past anniversaries. "It's different now."
Ashley is suspicious when Jack turns up at the wedding with MJ, tells him to slow down, he just got a divorce.
Paul arrives in Kay's boudoir with news of Kevin, the gun, etc. Flurry of activity as time is running late. Happy, happy Kay.
Tyra and Ana arrive, greeted by Neil, Icky Tyra googles eyes at Neil. Daniel takes a photo of Lily, Cane, Neil, Ana and Tyra as a group. Clang clang, lol. Poor Billy is deflated when Cane tells him he bought Jimmy's bar, pours himself another drink.
Ashley warns MJ, gently, that her brother is going through a divorce and he is NOT over Sharon. Later she tells Victor her brother is sleeping with MJ. At that, Victor walks over to MJ and warns her not to let Jack become suspicious. Jack sees them together talking.
Drunk Jill, Gloria and Jeff again. (Sort of feel sorry for Jill today.) Jeff urges her to attend the wedding, looks like he has convinced her.
Kevin arrives at the Chancellors with Jana and Michael!!!!
Phyllis gives Nick sheets, Italian linen 1500 thread count, for their anniversary. They kiss. "Let's go home" he says to her.
Sharon is pregnant.
Paul bumps into MJ, has a glimmer of recognition,asks if they know one another.
Mike thanks Amber for the gun because it got Kevin out on bail. Hug from Mac to Kev. Kevin declines Murphy's request for him to be the best man under the circumstances, all okay, his being there makes it perfect.
Everyone is seated for the processional. Amber leads as bridesmaid, then Mac (who Billy ogles). A very, very drunk Jill stumbles on the Chancellor doorstep, rattles the locked door handle. Nina is right behind her, admonishes her. Back inside, Nikki comes down the aisle and takes her place as Victor give her the evil eye. Enter Katherine in a gorgeous 2 piece white suit designed by Amber! Smiles all around and Murphy's eyes twinkle. Lovely scene!
