Paul renders Nikki speechless with his proposal and ring but she finally says that she can't say yes but she's not saying no either. Paul's a little sad but understands.
Ashley worries she is losing her mind again. Victor reassures her, not so. He will punich severely the person who has been bedevilling her..
Adam curses to Rafe that he can't stand living like this any more, feels like he's worse off than in prison. Rafe promises to be there for him, anything he needs. (More evidence today that Adam is definitely UP to something. He seems to have weighed everything he says to Rafe.) Rafe comments on how bad Adam looks, too skinny.
Sharon moves back in with Jack again. She encourages Jack to tell Mary Jane about the two of them, so off he goes and tells MJ that it's all over now, just business from now on. She is NOT pleased.
Daniel calls his mother about the man who bought all his art as Amber paws him, kind of funny. It's obvious that even though Phyllis is enjoying being with Nick and Summer he is uncomfortable, smiles weakly. Ugh.

Nikki confesses to Kay that she fears her judgement re men isn't the best and that's why she couldn't tell Paul yes. Marrying David only a year ago and could she be reacting to Victor, Ashley and their baby on the way?
Victor gives Rafe hell for trying to give him advice about Adam.
MJ blithers on to Jack that he's making a mistake about Sharon regarding his image. He leaves, she freaks out, big time.
Nina and Kay greet Paul and Heather at CL. Nina says she's sticking around!! She then asks Kay how she would like her life story on the big screen. Kay's jaw drops.
Amber and Daniel toast with champagne to Howard Auker (the man who bought all the art just as he knocks on the door. He wants to speak to Daniel privately so Amber excuses herself. He identifies himself as an agent of some sort, shows his ID. He has a proposition for Daniel.
Sharon tells Nick and Phyllis she has moved back into the Abbott mansion. Nick flinches, Phyllis looks suspicious.
As Adam is stuffing something into a waste basket, Ashley visits him in his bedroom. He tells her he is going crazy with Victor as his jailer, can;t live there anymore. She hugs him, says he needs to eat something, he's losing too much weight. The minute she leaves, he locks the door and TAKES OFF HIS ANKLE BRACELET!!! He then opens his window and slips outside.

Another confrontation between Sharon and Phyllis. Stupid.
Ashley appeals to Victor to be kinder to Adam, that he's a good person, humbled by prison and blindness, etc. As she goes on and on, we see Adam outside at the statue of Sabrina rummaging through leaves for the tape recorder. He turns it on, baby crying.
The agent guy explains to Daniel why they have singled him out. He has such a similar style of art to a painter whose work has been stolen, that he has been chosen to make a fake of the stolen work, flush out the thieves. Daniel reluctantly agrees but is stunned when agent tells him he can tell no one.
Kay asks Nina if Amber could co-write the screen play. Nina is a little shocked but Amber is delighted and excited.
Victor agrees to allow Heather in to see Adam but he'll never approve of it. Ashley goes off to call Heather with the good news. Nikki visits Victor to drop off some photos. She thanks him for being civil as he walks her to the door. After the door is closed she pauses, then to herself says "goodnight, and good bye".
Adam sneaks back into his room with the tape recorder that falls onto the floor when he tries to place it on his desk, he replaces the ankle bracelet, Heather knocks on his door. Camera pans to the recorder. Kiss, kiss, she notices he is all wet, kiss kiss, bed. (The rug on Adam's floor is the very same design as one I have here, lol.)
Ugh. Phyllis ticks off Nick when she asks him if he wishes Sharon was moving back in with him instead of with Jack.
MJ is a whacko!! She strokes an imaginary cat and says not to worry, he will come back to her.
Adam gets another hug from Ashley when he thanks her for the Heather thing, has a slightly guilty look on his face as she embraces him.
Nikki presents Paul with an ice cream cone, same as the one they had first time they met. She accepts his proposal. Nice scene!!!
Next:
Colleen tells Uncle Jack that it'll double Newman's fragrance line. Does he still think he can stop it?
Adam to Ashley that Heather is the only friend he has in the world. She leans in, says she is not his ONLY friend (implying that she too is his friend).
Victoria asks her mother if she would have accepted Paul's proposal if dad were still available.
And the plot thickens, Adam is completely looney tunes. And they are making the poor woman who plays MJ just as looney as the woman she was on AMC. Thanks for doing this, Y&R is getting plain crazy
