Nikki and Paul gush about their engagement, he tells her Nick knows, so does Katherine. Shouldn't they tell Victor? Yeah, sure.
Victoria and Heather have tense encounter as Heather explains she has forgiven Adam as has Victor. Victoria says Adam can't be trusted and if she has forgiven him, the same applies to her.
Abby and Ashley discuss the suspects in her gaslighting, that Adam has to be crossed off the list. Abby thinks he may be faking blindness but Ashley points out that the doctor yesterday confirmed it. Over in Adam's room, he plays the tape recording of the baby crying and smiles.
Jeff and Gloria in the Caymans run into Jill, commiserate about the money stuck in the failed bank. She has two hours there to get every penny she has and get back to GC in time for Cane's wedding. Meanwhile, Jeff manages to get most of his money out. Jill fumes - she is out of luck!!
Estella is back at the ranch for the rest of her things, has conversation with Victor about how these terrible things are all in Ashley's head. She is adamant that it isn't her doing it.
Colleen and Jack discuss Newman's new fragrance line. He's confident he can stop it.
Paul tells Heather about the engagement, she fills him on getting back together with Adam. He asks her if she lost her mind.
Baby crying noise, Ashley hears, Adam goes into the hall, says he heard it too. Ashley screams for Victor who tells her that Estella was just there. He will have the house searched. (Bad Adam, eh? I still like him, though, lol.)
Colleen and Victoria have a disagreement about who it is being used, V says Jack is using Colleen, C says that V only got where she is because of daddy, no one really takes her seriously, that she is the one being played. Good little scene.
Adam, wearing latex gloves, carefully stuffs the tape recorder into one of Estella's jackets, joins Ashley in the living room, makes nice with her, all friendly and grateful.
Heather and Paul argue about her relationship with Adam. She defends him completely. Paul insists Adam is dangerous!
Jeff and Gloria think they have a celebration waiting for them as they receive a cheque from the bank, but learn later that it's fake, not good at all. Now Jeff, Gloria and Jill are stranded in the Caymans, and broke. Uh oh, lol.
The laundry service guy takes the bag of clothes containing the jacket with the tape recorder in it, says the things will be back tomorrow. Nikki arrives at the ranch with her news. V thanks her, says "well I'll be damned". He's a bit sad, reflective after she leaves.
Victoria confronts Jack about using Colleen to get her father, that it's sickening. Jack corrects her: "It's the Newmans that eat their young, not the Abbotts". She hopes she can be there to see it when all his nasty deeds come back to bite him in the ass.
Ack! Adam cons Victor, says that he didn't really hear the baby but pretended to for Ashley's sake. He wants another chance with his family. Victor buys it.
Eek. It was Victor Newman that withdrew all his money forcing that Cayman bank to collapse. Jill, Jeff and Gloria all scream and flail arms around. Funny scene. Jill calls Victor, asks for his help and he refuses, hangs up. Victor has another moment thinking about Nikki.
Ashley and Victor argue about Estella.
Heather suggests to Adam that they need a fresh start when he gets out of there, go somewhere together where nobody knows them. He absolutely refuses to run away. He has nothing to offer her. Don't go making any big plans for their future because he can't guarantee they will have one. Kiss, kiss, etc.
Victoria speculates to Nikki that the engagement to Paul is a settlement since Victor isn't available. Blah, blah, V hopes Nikki's feelings for Paul are strong enough to pull her out of Victor's orbit.
Colleen tries to get through to Abby about how Victor is trying to buy her forgiveness for the way he treated their father (Brad) but Abby is too naive and shallow to understand.
Jack, on the phone, offers someone at NE a job at Jabot. (He's acting over-confident and cocky.)
Victor cradles Ashley in bed, loves her and that she is carrying his baby, tells her about Nikki and Paul, that it's a safe choice. Not his ego talking but Nikki has a tendency to rush into relationships when he himself has one. Ashley thanks him because she sees that confession as confidence in her that she isn't threatened by the other women he has loved, Nikki and Sabrina.

MJ on the phone, identifies herself as Nicholas Newman's assistant. She is looking for Sharon Abbott. (I guess she figures that by putting Sharon and Nick together, she can have Jack back.) Ugh.
At GCAC, Phyllis walks in to find Sharon in Nick's arms. (It looks as if she might have felt faint and he caught her or something. Of course, Phyllis is a little unnerved. Nick looks like the village idiot again, lol.)
