My husband will be glued to the TV today watching the car race. I can't begrudge him the odd TV obsession but it seems his have been growing lately. *sigh*
Anyway, we drove out to see Mrs. Roy yesterday and the sweetheart forgot all about the fountain, focusing instead upon other things and it wasn't appropriate for us to mention it to her. She called a couple of hours after we got back home to apologise for forgetting it, said we'd have to come get it another day. She did, however, supply me with some valuable information to untangle a mess my parents created, so that was great. I absolutely adore that lady.
Mike and Maya are coming for dinner and to help rearrange some furniture in Nick's room. The split queen box springs we put in there weigh a ton! It's a 2 man job moving those blasted things. I tried calling Nick last night as he ought to be in Edmonton by now but had to leave a message. No news is good news, I guess.

KaeEll, I'm so glad you had such a nice visit with Mrs. Roy yesterday, but I'm sorry about the fountain. I know you were looking forward to having that. If I know older ladies, she'll probably remember in the middle of the night that you were supposed to take it, and end up scolding you for not having said something! LOL...
We also have the Indy on. Not a good start to the race!! I'll watch for a little longer, read some mail, and then go do some other things. I'll come back for the last laps.

Wow. Good thing NASCAR isn't in Daytona this weekend! However, there is rain on tap for the race in Charlotte today, but I'm hoping we'll get it all in.
I'm not much of a Indy-racing league follower, but I check in on the Indy 500 here and there during the day. Looks like Helio won another-didn't he win Dancing with the Stars a while back?
I've got zero plans for tomorrow. I was hoping to grill sliders today, but the forthcoming ran may halt that. Hopefully it'll be nice tomorrow!
