Ted returned home last night from out west, stuffed from all the business dinners out at restaurants. Wednesday night they took a $40 cab ride from the Edmonton hotel (!!) to the best restaurant in town, recommended by the concierge. (Everything is SO spread out there.) When the bill came, it was Ted's turn to pick up the tab and he noticed later that the waiter included one martini sent back by one of the fellows as too "wet" on the bill. That's $10 he'll never see again, lol. Check the tab carefully before plopping down the credit card!
Here I go on another Friday of running around. I'm beginning to dread these days more each week. But the sun is shining, the birds are chirping, it is a beautiful day.
Yesterday evening my husband and I "graduated" from main stream square dance lessons" along with a few other couples. Today I plant to get some stuff done around the house and plant some marigolds.
