Nina meets with Cane to get some background for the screen play.
Chloe visits Billy at the Abbott's. He's lonely and sad, full of self pity. He quit drinking, quit chasing mac around, what ore does he have to do to get her back? She lets him have it again. She's HAD it with him, leaves with a slam, still really upset about Sharon.
JT interrogates MJ who claims she was only looking around, apologises for intruding. He then leaves to join Victoria on the sting. Meanwhile Victoria and Aucker are at Jimmy's, in comes Jana, quickly followed by Amber and Kevin who ask her if she's there to meet Daniel, they heard her leave him a message that she was worried about him. Aucker's not pleased that they're there.
Daniel's in the alleyway behind Jimmy's, meets fake Aucker who pulls a huge gun on him, demands his painting back.
Nina asks Cane about Violet, then Amber, he hedges, then freaks when she says who knows, this could end up being a movie about him.
Chloe asks Katherine for advice on Billy, worried about Delia too. Kay's not thrilled when she tells her about Sharon's pregnancy, advises her not to think she can change Billy, huge mistake.
Billy joins Mac at CL. She shows him an old scrapbook she found in the attic with lots of mementoes of their past together. He asks her why she is showing this to him now, why didn't she just throw it out, what is she doing???
Jana explains to Kevin and Amber the mess with Auckers one and two. Amber jumps up and reams real Aucker, tells him that Daniel is there, she saw his car parked down the way. Fake Aucker, still holding Daniel at gunpoint, contacts Victoria to make the exchange, verifies she has the $100.000 with her.
Nina tells Cane she is baffled by all the dead ends in his story and that she is burning with curiosity because of her love for Philip, who was he, where did he come from. Cane ends the conversation, takes off for home.
Paul stops MJ at GCAC, mentions the IRS to her, stops her dead in her tracks. He learned she had a huge deposit in her bank account, new SS#, etc., who's behind this? She calls him a stalker and leaves.
In the alleyway, a masked man attacks and stabs fake Aucker, knocks his gun to the ground. Daniel is left there calling Aucker's name.
Fake Aucker dies but not before he answers Daniel' s question about who did this. He says "You did". Victoria arrives calling Balford's name.
Billy realises that Mac is mooning over their past in spite of herself, calls her a hypocrite. She feels the same way now as she did back then, doesn't she? "Yes". He presses her, she says it's too complicated, they aren't kids anymore, but he is encouraged.
Kay advises Chloe to focus on changing the only thing she can change, herself. She needs to work on her self-respect. Kay will be Chloe's sponsor, so if she ever feels like falling off the wagon (and going back to Billy), call her.
Victoria finds Balford's body, JT calls her name, crates fall on her.
AS JT cradles Victoria and screams for help, the masked man steals the briefcase full of money and runs off. Aucker, inside Jimmy's, calls for an ambulance, freaks out Kevin, Amber and Jana, tells them to stay inside, there is no sign of Daniel.
Nina meets Paul at GCAC, hugs hello. After a few questions about Violet, he offers her all his old files on that case if it woulf help her. Happy Nina.
Gill asks Paul if he knows a MJ Benson because she has filed a complaint and he (Gill) will have to take Paul in for questioning.
MJ confesses to the stuffed cat that she killed a bird today, then goes on to admit she killed the stuffed cat too. Uck.
Chloe overhears Billy telling Mac that Chloe told him their marriage was over which means he is available. He asks her to break up with Raul, do the right thing.
Kay joins Mac, now alone and going over the scrapbook. She knows her granddaughter is still in love with Billy.
Cane phones "Langley", calls the character played by Thom Bierdz "Philip" and says his wife has not forgotten about him. Philip hangs up.
JT threatens Aucker, says if his wife dies he's coming after him. V is wheeled into the ambulance.
Kevin, Amber and Jana find Daniel at the studio with all lights off. Daniel says he is in serious trouble.
Next: Amber to Daniel, that if he wants to leave town, they could do it right now. He asks "you'd give all this up for me?"
Heather asks Paul why this woman has become so important to him. He answers that he could swear he knows her from somewhere.
Nikki tells Victor that something was not right in that house last night. (It looks as though they are in the hospital corridor.) Victor looks concerned and as if he believes her.
