Leaving tomorrow

I will be leaving alone tomorrow morning from Houston on my way to Cleveland. Its a 21-hour driving trip. Friday I will have our 3.5 year old grandson, Matthew. Our son, Eric, said that Matthew misses us. Then on Saturday I will work at a job I have had for 18 summers. http://www.wiegandslakepark.com I also have several bookings for Pineview Lake where I have worked for 13 summers. http://www.pineviewlake.com

Well, I made it! I arrive back in northeast Ohio Thursday evening. I drove through two rainstorms. One was in Nashville which got worse after I was past the city from what I heard on the radio. The second was in northcentral Ohio.

My daughter, Monica was in southern Ohio near Cincinnati with her two children (6 and 4). So, she drove up for a visit and spent two nights. It was so nice seeing her!
I played tennis this morning. The weather was perfect for it!
I don't have internet service in my house here. So, I will be stopping at a library.

I've been wondering about your trip, Sundancer! I'm so glad to know that you made it safely, and were able to spend time with your daughter.

I hate driving through storms too. Talk about stress!! Then once you've safely arrived at your destination, and are finally able to breathe again, you realize just how much tension has settled in your shoulders and neck, and just how hard you were actually gripping that wheel.

I hope you have a fantastic time up there in Ohio, and we'll keep looking for your posts!

Great that you made it safe and sound! Stop by that library often so we can follow your trip.

Enjoy, have fun and keep us posted. Oh, and pictures would be fun too. :)

Thanks! I just finished playing tennis. I play four times a week at 7:45 a.m. in the summer. Better here than in hot Houston! Besides working part time, and keeping up the house and yard (acre and half), I do some square dancing and swing dancing (hence my user name). Now my other daughter, Audrey, is here from Charlotte for a few days visit. I also watch my 3.5 year-old grandson once or twice. He is a delightful child.
