JT and Nikki at the hospital waiting for news of Victoria; Kevin, Jana, Daniel and Amber sit in the dark talking about the art scam. Aucker appears at Daniel's door, "Going somewhere?"
Paul tells Heather he can't leave the MJ thing alone - he's positive she's hiding something.
Ashley wanders downstairs at the ranch, sure she and the baby are just fine.
Victoria is awake but should stay in the hospital to be on the safe side. Nikki calls Victor who leaves immediately to join her.
Aucker intimates that Daniel knew who was killed in the alley because he was THERE, says he knows Daniel and friends are lying. K, J, D and A all yap about their predicament, and Daniel takes Jana's advice to come clean to Aucker, tell him the whole truth.
Paul is served with a restraining order, courtesy of MJ. He has to leave the GCAC because MJ has a room upstairs. Then back at the hospital, JT explains how MJ made him late for Victoria's sting thing. Victor says he'll have a chat with her, set some boundaries.
Ugh. Flashbacks to Ashley losing the baby and Adam's part in it. Then in real time, Ashley takes tea and toast for her and Adam, gets him to feel her "baby" kick. Ugh.
Aucker questions Victoria about what happened in the alley. She states she saw no one at all in the alley other than the dead man. Victor stops the interrogation and JT reams Aucker. Daniel calls to meet him at Jimmy's.
Crooked doctor tells Adam that Ashley is having an hysterical pregnancy now and he'd better figure out a way to stop it. Ashley sees them talking, doc says he stopped by to check on her.
Paul, now at the hospital too, fills in Victor and Nikki on his MJ encounters. Victor grunts, says this is the second time he's heard that woman's name in the last hour. Victoria's going to be fine, just a concussion, doctor discharges her.
Daniel and company blither on to Aucker who concludes that Daniel shot and killed the fake guy, doesn't believe him about the man in the ski mask. Daniel's fingerprints are all over the murder weapon.
Nikki asks Victor how Ashley is. Just fine, why? Strange things going on at his house last night, Adam lied to her, some new doctor was there. Nikki smells a rat. Victor will check it out.
Dr. Taylor, the crooked doc, is afraid of Victor, he'll squash him like a bug if he finds out what he's done (telling Ashley that she and her baby are fine). Adam threatens him again.
Paul and Nikki, over coffee at CL, chat about MJ and the restraining order. Paul says he's going to keep digging, more determined than ever.
MJ looks at a photo of Paul says she just can't do it, she doesn't want to be enemies with him, then presses the photo to her heart. (Duh.)
Aucker tells Daniel et al not to leave town.
A man, whose face we don't see, leaves the same briefcase that was stolen from the alleyway inside the CL office.
Ashley defends Adam to Victor as he asks her about the new doctor. She goes off to bed leaving Victor to reprimand Adam for sending Bonnie, the maid, home last night. He doesn't want Ashley and Adam alone in the house. Adam says to himself, "Sorry Victor, I'm doing things my way now".
Next: Mac asks Chloe what's wrong with Sharon, is the baby okay? Chloe looks up to Billy, asks him if he wants to break the news or should she?
Jack overhears Nick telling Sharon that they will get through this, they will do it together and this time it's for keeps. Sad Jack.
MJ offers Phyllis to baby-sit Summer, flutters her hands, says that might be strange, letting her stay with a stranger.
The problem with the art story is that it's so obvious that Aucker is going to arrest the wrong person and the guy framing Daniel will get away with it for a while.
I find the Ashley hysterical pregnancy story too creepy and grim. Just giving it a moment's thought creeps me out. I keep wondering how Adam was supposed to address what Ashley lost at the bottom of the stairs. Ugh.
yeah, the Adam storyline is just too much. I can't handle it. And I agree about the art story. Its too predictable. Sad to say that these writers have become that way.
