Hi and happy Friday! I did the usual Friday things yesterday instead so today is the first Friday that I have had more or less to myself in over 2 years. I am over the moon delighted, lol.
I have made an effort to contact an old friend I haven't seen in a very long time through Facebook. She accepted my invitation but didn't identify herself so I'm a little baffled. The last I ever heard from her, she was in Whangarei, NZ (or maybe Whanganui) on the north shore of the north island on a plot of land with a sheep dip business. How many people could there be with that name in that situation? Maya encouraged me to look her up. I wonder if I've done the right thing.

Jim and our son are playing poker with the poker gang tonight. They haven't been able to in so many months that I don't even remember when the last time was! Jim had some physical therapy this morning for his lower disc, and the epidural he had a week or so ago doesn't seem to be helping him all that much.
I'm making a chicken salad with grapes and apples, to take to a doll club get-together tomorrow morning, and since Jim will be gone tonight, I guess it'll be a quiet evening for me too!
