I have a little change of routine today as Ted will take over the first part of mother's backs and forths and I'll do the other end. Sharing a car sometimes has it's perqs, lol. Mike and Maya have pretty much taken over the van as it now lives at their place. We told them to use it until it conks and the darn thing just keeps on chugging along, lol.
The rains have stopped, finally. Everything is a gorgeous green!!
What's in store for today, guys? Any plans for the weekend?
My dear friend is staying with me a couple of nights this week while Vinnie is out of town so today I am going to brave the evil place that is chuck e cheese.
Not much else to do. Today most of the world has the day off since tomorrow is already a Saturday.

Jim is taking the day off, and has gone down to the Mall to do some photographs. He got some new camera equipment, and wanted to play. There's some event going on in town, and it's a gorgeous day today, so he thought he take advantage of the opportunity. Kind of ironic that he would take the day off, and then head back downtown again! LOL... I guess the difference is that it's on his own terms!
Today is also our oldest daughter's 26th birthday. She also took the day off, and has headed off to brunch with Loren. In contrast to last year, when we all went down to NC to celebrate her 25th, I think that she has a quiet day planned this time. I told her that she's now officially on the downhill slide to 30!
