If today's epi is too grim and gritty, I'll sign off with a warning, lol. I'm afraid it's going to be all about Lily and her disease. Triple ugh.
Mac and Cane in the trailer discuss going to see Lily but he figures Neil would keep him away. Mac blurts out that Lily has cancer, stops Cane in his tracks.
Neil takes a leave of absence from CE to look after Lily.
JT talks to Colleen on the phone yap, yap as she thanks him for keeping his mouth shut about her strip thing. (Huge clanger that JT will get caught between loyalties and will end up arguing with Victoria over this mess.)
Jeff and Gloria arrive at Victor's office, all smug about setting up Colleen, amuse V to no end as he tells them he won't pay them a dime until the deal is done.
That Deacon guy has set up Daniel, no details though. Meanwhile, Amber tells Jana about running into Deacon and he pretended they never knew one another. Jana advises her to tell Daniel everything, immediately, but as Daniel shows up, she hesitates.
Colleen and Billy visit Lily in the hospital. Yech. Glum.
Back to Mac and Cane talking about Lily and her cancer. Blech. She tells him to stop trying to do the noble thing (by staying away) and do the right thing, to go to her because she needs him. He'll stick around. Mac sets him up at the trailer since he has nowhere to live for now.
Just as Amber begins to tell Daniel not to trust Deacon, he comes to their table pretending to help Daniel find the person that set him up with the art scam. Deacon shows off a picture of his son, Eric. Amber looks at it with sadness in her eyes. Deacon leaves, Amber's an emotional mess, takes off.
Gloria asks Kevin for an anonymous untraceable e mail address, lol. (Thank goodness for that little bit of humour in an otherwise GRIM episode.)
Neil tells Devon he will do whatever necessary to keep Cane away from Lily.
Cane asks Mac to put together a care package for Lily to lift her spirits.
Gloria and Jeff send out the videos of Colleen on e mail to various NE people and a secretary at NE receives it as JT and Victoria are there and see it too. FUNNY!!
UGH, more Lily crap as she and Billy talk.
Amber pounds on Deacon's door, yells at him for being such a sneak. "What do you want?" He demands she sleep with him or he'll send Daniel back to prison. (Who is writing this bull? Very un Y&R-ish. It feels more like a Stacy and Rex crap story from OLTL. Just awful.)
Mac visits Lily with a package of DVD. Casablanca, etc. (Cane got her to buy them.) Happy Lily, just what she needed.
Deacon and Amber again. Evil Deacon. Amber is furious as he insists she sleep with him to save Daniel and she storms out, so he ups the ante and reports a "crime" to the cops.
Too bad you can't let the DVR get he epi and then just FF through all the crappy parts.
I can but I've come this far, LOL. The Lily thing is gross, really horrible. I have NO idea why thet thought this would be a good summer story.
Funny as Kevin sees the uploaded video of Colleen.
Victoria is furious with JT about the video and JT's possible involvement in trying to protect her. She then shows her father the video. Pleased Victor, *snort*. Colleen appears at NE, Victor kicks her off the board for morally reprehensible behaviour, end of discussion.
Deacon's side-kick, Rider, makes palsy-walsy with Kevin and Jana, pretends to be a fan of Kevin's chipmunk speeches.
Amber runs to Daniel's arms for comfort but still doesn't tell him. Pound on door, the cops from the Dept. of Justice with a search warrant and they find the stolen and forged painting behind the drywall in Daniel and Amber's studio. (Bad Deacon.)
Mac neglects to tell Billy that Cane is living in their love nest trailer. (Stupid Mac.) She feigns needing to spend time with her family that night.
Geez, DG is doing a decent acting job, but I still hate that story.
Next:
Potting shed. Adam tells MJ that Victor is holding a televised press conference right now, is demanding a warrant for her arrest. Freaked out MJ.
Daniel's in jail, asks Mike how he is supposed to defend himself for this, he can't.
Adam slips out his window wearing the ankle thing. Gill asks Victor if he's aware that Adam Wilson has left the premises.
