MJ lurks around Jimmy's Bar as Paul is on the phone there asking for an unnamed friend to join him.
Billy tells Jack that Ashley is losing it and he agrees. Billy suggests she be committed (to an institution). Meanwhile, Adam talks to Ashley about the possibility that Sabrina might actually be alive. As she hugs him in gratitude, in walks Victor.
Chance now has a job as a detective with the police. He asks Nina where Chloe is and his mom twigs that he has a crush on her.
Mac tells Chloe that Billy doesn't want to be her husband, so face it, she lost to her. Good one as Chloe calls her a slut for sleeping with him. Go Chloe, lol. LOL!! Gloria and Jeff are working at the coffee house to give Kevin and Jana a break.
Ashley is an emotional mess, flinches when Victor tries to touch her. He's beginning to see how screwy she really is. Meanwhile, upstairs in his room, Adam rips up the purple Sabrina dress, says to himself that Ashley is making this all too easy.
Nina joins Paul at Jimmy's, the friend he called earlier. She'll always be there for him. Talk about Nikki. (Is she still lying on the road near the ranch?? Great security, eh?)
Noah, Eden and Abby plan a memorial for Zapatto. Victor thinks that's a great idea.
MJ goes to confession with Todd Williams , priest, behind the curtain. (This must be when Todd figures out she is Patty, his sister.)

Ashley, the kids and Victor visit Zapatto's grave and mourn with stories of his life and how so many people loved him. At the end of the memorial, Victor gets a call that it wasn't the garden poison that killed Zapatto after all. He promises to get the person that did this. Then he finds on the ground Nikki's necklace.
MJ tells the priest she hasn't been kind to animals. She confesses to stealing and adultery too. Todd listens carefully.
More Mac defending herself for sleeping with Billy (to Chloe). Chance is there now too, follows Chloe outof the coffee shop to comfort her as she's not looking too well.
Billy and Jack go to get Ashley away from the ranch and Victor, of course, tried to stop them.
Adam puts some of his own blood on the ripped up purple thing.
Ashley has a meltdown as the men argue, security arrives, kids rush into the living room. Yelling, Jack and Billy leave voluntarily, swear that this isn't over. Ashley and Abby are distraught, to say the least.
MJ continues her confession to the priest and tips her hand that she is the sister. Good scene. Todd has now figured it out, calls Paul with the news.
Chance arrives back at the Chancellor house, sees a really upset Chloe. She has admitted to herself that all hope of her getting Billy back is gone. Chance gives her his shoulder to cry on, Nina sees it and scowls.
Billy and Jack arrive at CL. Mac tells Billy about her encounter with Chloe earlier and he shrugs it off, kisses her goodbye. Jack learns that Victor's wishes regarding Ashley supersede theirs as siblings. Funny bit again with Jeff eavesdropping.
Gloria catches MJ stealing food and coffee at CL, asks her to stay put when she recognises her.
Adam gives the bloody rag to Ashley, says he found it under Victor's car, she freaks out. Adam says he'll protect her and she hugs him. Happy Adam. Ugh.
I used to have the edit function in the "More" box, bit now when I click on it, nothing happens. It might be my computer, though. I'm having all sorts of little problems with it. The diagnostician at the Apple Store confirmed what Tony had said, that there is a problem in the hard drive and he wouldn't fix it (or try to) until I had backed up all my stuff, so he sold me a thing called a gizmo (literally) and now I have to figure THAT out, lol. It's a little stick thing but I don't know which portal it wants. I'm going to use some emotional blackmail and get Tony over here to hook it up. I do so much FREE baby sitting, it's the least he could do!
Anyway, in the mean time, please forgive typos. I make a zillion and can't edit them.
And you're really welcome for the day aheads. I can't manage every day and starting August 25, I'll have to wait until 4:30 p.m. ET to watch. Damn cable company!
I can understand not being able to do everyday...for those I can do the ones at SOC, but yours really are better. Probably because we tend to hate the same things on the show so I enjoy your commentary more.

Correction for my recap this morning:
The purple thing that Adam cut up to make Ashley think she had actually run over Sabrina was a purple shirt from his closet, almost the same shade of purple as that dress. He did that to feed Ashley's guilt.
It's a really horrible story, but I sort of like it in a grim awful way. I guess it's because I've disliked Ashley for about 20 years, lol. Although I find that I'm rooting for her a little now that she is furious with Victor for a change. I love it when she gives him sh*t.
Kind of dumb, I mean won't they be able to test the blood on the shirt and know it is Adam's. My mom said she read on the cover of Soaps in Depth that Adam is finally caught. I am not sure I believe it. This has been going on too long.
And yes it does help. It helps because not many people like both Sharon and Phyllis.
