Kae I don't know if you have been able to watch the show this week but it has been good. I loved when Nikki started to defend Victor and Paul went off on her. I would say that is long overdue. And I have loved Tracy this week. Seriously, can we trade her for Ashley. I would rather her being around. Especially since the most feared baby switch is indeed going to happen.
Shelly, I have been turning on my recordings of Y&R at some point in the evenings and also LOVE Traci's presence. But the killing off Colleen really ticked me off. I don't like watching Lily either. I'm disappointed in the writing, BIG time.
The baby switch is just so standard, so ridiculously predictable, and so wrought with ironies, that for me, it's barely worth discussion. Not to mention Victor getting Colleen's heart, of all things. TV in general seems to have lost its appeal, never mind an idiotic soap opera, lol.
I guess I'll keep up with it to some degree, that is if I can find the time to run the recordings when my husband isn't around (he can't abide the damn thing). The time changes made by the cable provider really wreaked havoc with my pattern of viewing. Late afternoon isn't a good time for me.
I think that the next few weeks I will be tuning out. Can't handle this baby switch thing. And I hate that it is Jack who suggests the heart thing. Hate that they killed her off. They should have just let her go away and come back with a better actress. Now the Carlton family is all but gone. We have Abby but she is more of a Newman these days. I do really wish we could keep Tracy. The actress amazes me to no end.
I am sad that you haven't been enjoying tv. Did you catch Castle last week?
We LIKE Castle! But with baby being born, Nick back in town and me cooking for Tony's family, life has been a bit hectic, so no, didn't catch it. It'll settle down soon, back into a haze of the ho hum. With autumn strongly upon us up here, TV becomes more prominent and my winter habits will kick in soon. :)
I agree with you about Beth Maitland. She is wonderful and they ought to keep her around. Her hospital scenes were fantastic!!
