(SoapOperaNetwork.com) Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are headed back to All My Children.
Live with Regis and Kelly co-star/host Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos will help All My Children ring in its 40th Anniversary by making an appearance on the soap that put them both on the map. Ripa made the surprising casting announcement on todays edition of the popular morning show.
On AMC Ripa, of course, played Adams Chandlers (David Canary) punk-rock turned socialite daughter Hayley Vaughan. Consuelos joined the soap as Mateo Santos in 1995. Together the pair would form one of AMCs most beloved couples of the 1990s. After 12 years in Pine Valley, Ripa exited the role of Hayley in 2002 after being chosen as Kathie Lee Giffords replacement on ABCs flag-ship morning talk-show. Consuelos also left the soap in 2002.
Ripa and Consuelos will appear on AMC for just two episodes airing on January 4th and 5th. The couple who have been married since 1996, and share three children, plan to show behind-the-scenes footage of their return jaunt to Pine Valley on Live with Regis and Kelly in November.
