Despite having a case of the pre-wedding jitters, Kyle remains committed to going through with the ceremony, even after Nick gives him an opportunity to back out. Fish confides in Cristian concerning his screwed up love life. While it appears on the surface that they are discussing Fish and Kyle, Cristian and Layla are clearly talking about their own feelings for each other on Monday, October 26. Layla admits that, while she is attracted to Cristian, her comatose sister will continue to be a stumbling block for them and any potential relationship they may have. When she offers to move out of the apartment, Cristian insists that he should be the one to go. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, October 27, Kyle refuses Fishs plea of giving their love a second chance. Roxy insists to Kyle that hes marrying the wrong man. However, by Friday, October 30, Kyle is very impressed when Fish, who is covering crowd control at the wedding, proudly proclaims to a group of rowdy protestors that hes out and proud. Elsewhere in Llanview, Gigi laments on her and Rexs love and has an awkward encounter with Schuyler. On Wednesday, October 28, Shane is disheartened when Rex isnt able to come with he and his mother to the Halloween costume party, however Gigi manages to coax Schuyler into going with them. As they are about to leave for the party, both hope to get over their feelings of uneasiness. In the spirit of fun, the Mannings go head-to-head with the Morascos (plus Schuyler) for first place in the costume contest. After the party, Schuyler plants a spur of the moment kiss on Gigi, who forces herself to walk away even after admitting that she does feel something for him. Shaun is anixous about his upcoming date with Rachel. And some couples can only be together in their dreams.
The Inside Story: Parental Angst
While on the phone with their daughter Danielle, Téa manages to prevent Ross from talking to her. Following the conversation, they are shocked to stumble upon Blair and Todd, who are about to get intimate on Monday, October 26. To continue to keep Todd in the dark about their daughter, Téa goes along with Blairs claim that she and Ross teamed up to swindle him out of a fortune. Much to her relief, Ross agrees to play along with the charade. Meanwhile at the Warwick Boarding School just outside of London, Matthew and Danielle first meet, with neither aware of their connection to the other. Matthew is enamored with his new friend. Still hurting over their sons hatred of them, Bo and Nora release their pent up anger, and are drawn into a kiss on Wednesday, October 28. Concerned about Matthew, Destiny talks David into accompanying her to London. By Thursday, October 29, Blair is secretly thrilled by the progress she is making with Todd. Meanwhile Téa explains her actions to Rachel, including why she pretended that what Blair said was true. Elijah confides to his brother that he has learned the location of his daughter. Ross becomes angry when Elijah informs him that he must be the one who retrieve her because Ross cannot legally leave the U.S. at this time. However after punching his brother, Ross prepares for his flight to the U.K. After regaining his composure, Elijah calls Téa to warn her of Ross travel plans on Friday, October 30. At the same time Danielle shares her escape plan with Matthew. And Bo and Nora find themselves in one anothers comforting arms.
A Closer Look: Vengeance
After learning of her daughters phone call from Nash, Viki promptly reports the incident to John on Monday, October 26. After reviewing the evidence with help from Fish, John realizes that someone went to great lengths to make the voice on the phone sound exactly like Nash. On Tuesday, October 27, Natalie gets under Johns skin when she appears not to trust him. John, meanwhile, suspects he saw a clue while at the Buchanan Lodge, but is unable to remember what it was. Across town, Starr and Langston have a difference of opinion with their boyfriends concerning Dorians upcoming nuptials. On Wednesday, October 28, Jessica is the recipient of yet another phone call from Nash, who instructs her to go to their old vineyard in Napa. While taking a break from their investigation, Natalie admits to Rex that she would go on the run with Jared if it the only way they could be together. Doing some detective work, Rex and Natalie believe that Jared is likely headed for Napa. Johns lead on Rex and Natalies whereabouts fizzles. In Michigan, Brodys sister Nadine has ulterior motives. Back in Llanview, a smug Dorian thinks she has the election won when Viki is forced to cancel a previously scheduled debate out of concern for her family. The bond between Viki and David remains strong. Amelia wants Dorian to help further her cause on Thursday, October 28. David places Dorian on the spot by asking her to confess her true feelings. Later, while on his way to London with Destiny, David cant help but think of Dorian. Meanwhile, Dorian wishes she had told David that she loves him before her marriage to Amelia. And Markko and Cole have a change of heart and surprise their girlfriends as the mass gay wedding is about to begin on Friday, October 30.
