Well, the H1N1 vaccine here has been a disaster. There were line ups for 7 or 8 hours and people were turned away by health officials because it was supposed to be only for the high risk people this week, but, of course, with all the media hype, some people freaked out and went to the stations anyway. I've been advised to A) get the shot and B) do NOT get the shot. I don't know what I'll do yet. I see my doctor in early November, so I'll ask him what he thinks. So much HYPE. Ugh.
It's warm here at 10 degrees, but rainy. It's the usual Friday chauffeuring, then off to get a big pot roast for a Sunday gathering here, all 11 of us. I miss Nick so much. He's back in BC and nesting big time with his French lady love who has moved in with him. They were off to Ikea early in the week in Vancouver for some homey items to make the place more comfortable. Hmmm....
I got the regular flu shot, as did Jolene and Vinnie. The girls can't theirs until they are 6 months. I don't know what the military is doing in regards to the swine flu thing. It is such a mess. I wasn't going to get the shot this season but last year I was miserable enough to get the darned flu twice. And as a pregnant woman the doctors can't do anything about it.
Anyways, Kae I think I am going to do a run of the milk thistle. I need to browse around online and see if I can find some that is good. It is hard to diet as a stay at home mom but I am going to try. I turn 30 next April and my new goal is to lose 30 pounds by then.
Moore, has your side of SOC been crazy with the Adam stuff, and with the move?
Oh geez. The plumber just left. He was here at the stroke of 2 and I had to rush around like a crazy person to be here on time. I discovered just before I left here this morning that the kitchen sink was emptying into the downstairs shower so I called the plumber right away. It's always something, eh? He fixed it but not for free, lol. Ugh.
Shelly, I wish i could mail you some milk thistle but we know what could so easily happen at customs, and neither of us needs that headache. If you are able to find some good stuff that tastes awful, put it in some strong tasting juice like apple cider and knock it back fast, followed by some apple juice or orange juice to clear the palette. Oh, and keep it in the fridge.

Brandon, I'm so sorry to hear that your household fell victim to the flu, and hope that you're all feeling much better by now. If I'd known earlier, I would've Fed Exed you some of Kendall's magic chicken soup...
Shelly, yes it's been nuts on the AMC board. That's one reason I haven't been over here much lately. Just insane!
