HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Is everyone dressing up tonight, LOL?

We have a 15 minute window to view the kiddies, from 5:45 to 6 p.m. when they will leave to go trick or treating with school chums and dads down the street. I'll snap a couple of pics.

I had two Reese's peanut butter cups for breakfast. Uck. It will be a good thing to get all that candy out of the house.

Bran, are you all feeling better by now? Are you taking your daughter out for treats later on in the dark? You too, Shelly. Will Vinnie take Jolene around the neighbourhood while you and the little ones stay home answering the doorbell? How about Jodi and Jackson, Jess and her little brood? And poor Lucy, barking at the doorbell every few minutes.

Oh, remember to turn back the clocks tonight before going to sleep. We'll be getting nightfall so early now!

Happy Halloween everybody.

Only time for a quick drive by. The babies were flowers and Jolene was a black cat. Will post more later.

V and Q both wore their last year's costumes - mom was a little too busy this year, lol. The baby wasn't participating in the festivities this time, but she sure will be next year. Tony grew horns for the occasion. Q had his first ever peanut butter cup and I was able to catch it on camera. He liked it, a LOT.

Shelly, adorable costumes!

Hi all!

The kiddies look absolutely adorable! My child went the un-cute route this year for Halloween, LOL.
For those who don't Facebook, I'll post a pic.

Kae, sorry for the plumbing troubles. My mom had a plumbing disaster at the house she owns and rents out this year. They had to rip and entire wall out, and also redo the pipes. Ew.

Bran, hope you are feeling better!

I wish I could lounge around all day, but I have a parents group meeting the Boys and Girls club at 1 so we can plan our November family night. The lady at the front desk got parents involved in planning the family nights this year and they've been a huge success, and I've been itching to get involved in something here in town since I've moved here, and this has been fun.

Oh, and here's a pic of my brother and my niece and newphew. Carter was a boxer, and Anaya was a little angel fairy.

I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!

Thank you -- ALL of you -- for posting the adorable pictures of our board children. They look wonderful, and it makes me miss the days of making costumes for my own children, and organizing the whole event. Jim usually took everyone around the neighborhood, while I stayed home and passed out candy.

KaeEll, Lucy has finally given up barking at the doorbell. She spent this Halloween sleeping soundly, having decided that it was too much trouble to keep getting up (now that she's an older dog). Since Jim and I didn't appear to be alarmed by the ringing doorbell, or the goblins on our porch, Lucy apparently figured that it's no longer necessary to protect us against the perils of this annual event!

We had a decent number of children come here, although it was a rainy night (but very warm), so the evening was suddenly cut short by a downpour. I do so LOVE to see all the little tiny ones at the door, but enjoy the older ones too.

I have to say that all of your children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews are one fabulous-looking group of kids, and they've all grown SO much! It's so nice to be able to see the pictures. Thank you again for sharing the great costumes.
