While pretending to be his cousin Nigel, Nevil breaks the news to Clint that his wife has been cheating on him with his brother on Monday, December 14. Kim has Clint right where she wants him. Clint vows revenge on Nora. Upon returning to Llanview on Thursday, December 17, Nora is left speechless by what she sees upon entering her and Clints bedroom. By Friday, December 18, Nora realizes that Clints knows about her and Bo, and is left an emotional wreck after Clint tears into her. And Kim isnt deterred when Nigel assures her that he is on to her little scheme. Elsewhere in Llanview, Rex tells Gigi that they need some time apart until she figures out her feelings for Schuyler. Rachel second guesses Schuylers decision to keep quiet. On Tuesday, December 15, Gigi confesses her feelings to Viki, who offers to let her stay in her cabin until she and Rex are back on track. Stacy is secretly thrilled to learn Gigi has moved out, and fakes sympathy for Rexs predicament. And Nick weasels his way into Kyles good graces when he lies and claims that he has no one to nurse him back to health.
The Inside Story: The Bridge to Nowhere
Todd offers to take Blairs place as Ross hostage when he threatens to shoot her if anyone interferes with his escape. Meanwhile, Blair manages to escape from Ross clutches just as Todd dives for the gun. Near the end of his rope, Ross makes a desperate move on Monday, December 14, when he races toward the side of the bridge with Danielle. However, instead of trying to jump to safety, they are confronted by Todd, who makes one last effort to save his daughter. Danielle is pulled to safety, however Ross isnt so lucky. On Tuesday, December 15, Danielle unleashes her anger on Todd and Téa, blaming them for Ross death. Heartbroken by her daughters outburst, Téa demands she return to Llanview with her. Matthew comes to Danielles defense when he offers her a room at the Buchanan mansion. When Todd decides that the time isnt right to tell Danielle the truth about her paternity, Téa tells him that to just give her some time to heal and that she will eventually come around. By Thursday, December 17, Danielle blasts Téa once more before directing her fury onto Todd. Téa sobs as she sorts through mementos from her daughters childhood. Starrs curiosity is peaked on Friday, December 18, when she inquires to Todd about a photo of Danielle. In response, Todd recalls the events on the bridge, but conveniently leaves out the fact that Danielle and Starr are sisters. And, despite their mutual hatred of one another, Blair apologizes to Téa.
A Closer Look: Mind Games
John continues to shift suspicion away from Natalie by tampering with more evidence from the crime scene on Monday, December 14. Brody, however, isnt buying Johns claim that Mitch stabbed himself, and confesses to John that he knows Natalie is the guilty party. Meanwhile, a hesitant Jessica agrees to Charlies request that she not tell her mother that he has starting drinking again, when he leads her to believe that he is getting help for his addiction. Unfortunately, Viki is concerned for Charlie after discovering an empty liquor bottle hidden in the bushes outside Llanfair. On Wednesday, December 16, John is successful in getting Mitchs fingerprints on the letter opener. When Mitch wakes up and remembers what really happened, a smug John assures the former cult leader that on one will believe his story. However, John and Natalie are surprised when Brody takes his statement. At Llanfair, Viki confronts Charlie with what she found. During their conversation, Jessica overhears Charlie claim that he did not fall off the wagon following Jareds death. Later, Jessica understands that Brody thinks her sister is guilty of stabbing Mitch. Brody, meanwhile, has conflicting feelings about what to do with the information. At La Boulaie, the Cramers are shocked to learn on Wednesday, December 16, that Amelia and Delphina were once an item, and that their relationship ended on a sour note. The four teens encourage the former lovers to reignite their romance. On Wednesday, December 17, Dorian gives Amelia her blessing to be with Delphina. Before leaving however, the physic picks up on some bad vibes, and alerts Dorian that danger lies ahead. Shortly thereafter, Dorian confronts Mitch. Trying to spin what happened to his advantage, Mitch tells Brody that John is the one who stabbed him. Furthermore, Mitch wants to make a deal with John, which would allow Natalie to go free only if John admits to trying to kill him. John, however, refuses to play his mind games. And on Friday, December 18, Mitch promises to bring harm to Dorians girls if she doesnt give him what he wants.
