I have to be at the dentist in half an hour - an extraction of a back molar. Ugh. Dentist had been warning me for years about possibly losing the darn thing and the tooth aches were beginning to wear me down, so today's the day. And after ALL the crap I'd done to save it, it comes down to this. At least it won't be visible and, according to dentist, won't bother me eating anything, so no grand loss, but still...

Warning: don't bother letting them (periodontists, dentists) talk you into any heroic surgery on gums to "save" a molar. It was painful, expensive and did absolutely nothing in the end. Ugh.

I hope he lets me use some nitrous oxide today. Last time I had some I was singing "I'm a Little Tea Pot" in the chair, lol.
