Eesh, such a week already. Monday I had a tooth pulled out. That was not fun. Then I came home to the Christmas tree toppled over, smashed precious glass balls, soaked and ruined presents that I'd put under the damn thing. Ugh.
Ted's work has been in a huge crunch, so he's been tense and waaay too busy, working 13 hour days, coming home and falling asleep in front of the TV by 9. All 3 kids are far away right now, so I've been trying to help out with the kiddies. Yesterday we took them all the Magic Cuts for holiday snips. Big mistake. V's hair looks like it was chewed off by a goat. I'm taking her to a real salon tomorrow.
I still haven't replaced the ruined presents, but not for lack of trying. I'm not sure what the heck I'm going to do at this late date. Argh. As much as I don't like gift certificates, I might just end up buying them a bunch of lift tickets for the local ski hill with a note attached that I'd be there with the hot chocolates for the drive home.
Moore, how did the Doll Club thing go yesterday? Shelly, are the boxes unpacked yet? Bran, Sundancer, Jojo, are you guys ready for the holidays? Where is everybody spending the time? Anyone going to be alone? Anyone else looking forward to January?
Hello, Kae - Sorry to hear that your Christmas tree fell over! That has to be frustrating. I hope you mouth is feeling better from a tooth being pulled. I am pretty organized. I still have some last minute things to do. I am a bit slowed down, however, because I am not feeling up to par. My thoat is a bit swollen. Not a good time because I have square dancing tonight and then we are going to pick up our daughter (Brenda) from the airport who is flying in from San Francisco. Tomorrow I pick up our son (Eric) and grandson (Matthew). Matthew just turned 4 earlier this month. Then Saturday morning we pick up our daughter, Audrey.
Oh, sorry about the tree debacle! Sucks that gifts were ruined. That would make me sick!
I'll be spending the day with the brother and sister in law, of course, and I'm nearly ready. One more gift to pick up for my brother, and my sis in law suggested the Harry Potter flick on blu-ray. Easy enough, lol. Other than that, I'm ready.
