So is everyone just busy or what. I am sitting her watching YnR and wondering why. Moore is AMC worth getting back into? I am tired of YnR for the moment. Although I am enjoying Stefan Nichols as Kay's son. But I am tired of Adam getting away with everything.
So what is everyone up to. Kae are those grandbabies keeping you on your toes? I wish that my kids had a grand parent close to them. I always had at least one grandparent within a couple of hours. Now the closest we have is all the way over in Michigan.
I wish I had more to post. Its warming up down here. A whole 37 degrees. I can't wait to see some green grass. The house we are in is so new that you can still really see the different patches of grass from when they laid it down. I had hoped to move into our own house but Vinnie wants to save a bunch more money first. So I will be needing to find a place to plant some flowers and put out the feeder.
So please, people tell me what is going on? Any prime-time shows keeping you entertained.
Good afternoon, Shelly! Yesterday was more busy for me. Today I am catching up on odds and ends around the house.
I watch AMC, too. It seems to be getting better lately. Perhaps there are better writers in California? We will be losing David Canary because he is retiring. At least they are letting us down gradually. First, Stuart was gone. Now Adam will be leaving. I hope they don't have him die because then he can come back and visit. Perhaps Adam can retire someplace where the palm trees grow like ruth and Joe Martin!
Shelly, you aren't alone in tiring of Y&R. I barely watch it now, just happen to catch bits of it a couple of times a week and I don't keep my recordings of it either. The Adam story, the possible introduction of a terrorist-like villain, and the incessant yawn of the Lily story bored me. I thought it was just me. Oh, and it seems as if the dialogue writing has taken a turn for the worse as well.
We do watch bits of the Olympics, American Idol and my old stand-bys of Midsommer Murders and Hercule Poirot. Thanks for pointing out The Good Wife, because I really do enjoy that show, thank goodness! We enjoy Castle too! YAY, Nathan!!
Tuesday was a nasty day and yesterday I was still reeling somewhat from the repercussions of it. I had to quit a long-standing hairdresser and part owner of the spa I'd been patronising for 14 years. It's a little inconvenient starting up with new people, but it was probably time. I'd been shopping for a new salon and spa for quite a while anyway. The disagreement we had over lack of service was poorly handled and she decided to stand by her snippy little receptionist rather than mollify me, a disgruntled, long-term, loyal paying customer. Her loss, ultimately, as the annual income my family was taking her salon and spa was enough to foot the bill for a family of 5 for a week in the Caribbean each year.
I haven't watched any of the Olympics even though I had every intention to do so. My husband is keeping me posted on hockey though. I would love for the mens hockey to come down to US and Canada. And he says that the womens hockey is doing awesome.
I am glad you like The Good Wife. My DVR this week didn't record it. Both NCIS's were reruns so I am hoping that it was as well...Was it?
Anyways, I am operating with a crappy mouse. Hopefully the hubby will be able to fix it when he gets home. Its hard to play silly games without a mouse.
Shelly, I think that AMC has gotten better lately, although I'm still waiting to see where the new writers take it. As for Adam, I don't care that he gets away with stuff, because I love the guy! I love David too, but then I really tend to like all of the characters anyway. I just prefer the ones who are more interesting to watch, and sometimes those are the so-called villains who aren't really evil, but who push the edges of that proverbial envelope with their behavior.
That's why I liked Stacy on OLTL -28notice they dadn't find her body), and love Mitch Lawrence! LOL...

I tend to be the perfect soap viewer because for the most part I do what the writers want me to. At the moment I dislike David, but I have loved him before.
As for Stacy. I hate that with both her and Jared I liked them just as they killed them. And yes, I noticed the no body. I heard a rumor about Farah Fath and the actress who was Stacy not getting along well. Sadly, I think the actress was okay...it was the character who was written badly. I do like Kim though.
