i didn't really expect anything different from bush. he is set on his course & will not budge. he's made that abundantly clear. still, it just breaks my heart. all the lives lost already....all those still to be lost.
$400 billion spent....and much of the katrina area still lays devestated.
now comes the big debate....does congress financially support this or do they start cutting off the funds?? john edwards was on leno last night. he's against more troops & says funding should be cut off. he surprised me a bit w/the fund cutting. if they are going to be sent & we don't fund them where will the cuts be made. our troops already are not getting the body armor, etc., that they need. those are the people who will be most affected by any cut in funds.....but if we continue to fund this war at the current rate ~~~ or higher bush will never reconsider (not that i think he actually will. i'm very torn on the funding issue.
arrrrrrrrrrrrgh! i'm angry & frustrated.

I didn't watch I knew what he would say. I can't believe we aren't trying to impeach him for lying about this whole ordeal. He lied about weapons of mass destruction and people are dying. A new senate report also found that Saddam was against the terrorists not with them.
i'm happy to see that both houses of congress are in full outrage mode. i know he is the CIC but don't you think he would listen to what we....the citizens.....told him at the mid~term elections.
i agree....someone should initiate impeachment proceedings against him for his lies & duplicity.
