I've been having a few insane days with work.  Between the emails and phone calls, I'm going nuts, although I will take a few minutes to go find that Tom bash!

Good to hear you're feeling better jods. I will be in and out today nothing long term lol. I had a doctors appointment this morning and all is well with the baby. Doctor says it will at least be another week.

Oh well you know what I did, I went to that other board for a few days and then remembered why I originally left ~ They delete my threads that are perfectly acceptable!

 

well i've been here....and feeling like the lone voice in the woods lol.  i've been lonely!!  have to admit i've been finding it slow on my three fav soap boards.  must be a general malaise.

Awww, Tina.  We miss you over there!  I was really glad to see that you were posting again...

But you know, it's a HUGE board, and just has stricter rules so that things don't deteriorate or become vastly cluttered within minutes!  I'm sorry that you had a frustrating experience.

She had a horrible experience?  I think you could say most of us thats why we're all here.  I'm pretty sure if all of us went back to SOC and checked our post count and then came back and told everyone here what it was that all of them would be pretty high.  I'm thinking also that most of those would be from the beginning when we first went there.  I think i've posted once since I left there and its like I was fast paced to 1,000 posts and it took me forever to finish like the last 25 and i've posted once since I think.  I was still shocked to find out that any of us still posted over there.  Not your fault i'm sure Moore but that place hasn't been fun for me in awhile.

I'm so sorry...

Honestly, I'm willing to own up to my own part in whatever might be making you unhappy on the AMC board, if it's one of the ones that you're unhappy about.  I try very hard to be fair because I started out as a poster, and remained just a regular ole poster for almost a year before becoming a junior moderator.  But, I also have to enforce the guidelines over there, so there's my dilemma! 

There's no question that we're far more strict on SOC than over here, but it's truly necessary.  It's that same old problem of having a few people spoil everything for the rest of us.

I still enjoy posting, though, because I've gotten to know so many people.  I'm even pals with some of those I've had to reprimand in the past; they email me, and IM me from time to time.  LOL...!!!  But that makes me happy because I know that they understand that I'm just doing my job.  They know that they can rant about something, and I'll do my best to explain what happened.  But, if they make the same mistake again, I'll delete their post again too!

Now, I'm going to go pour massive amounts of wine...

 

I've been busy doing research for my hysterectomy, which I found out has a 75% chance of taking place next Monday. If they can't squeeze me into an OR, then it will be February 5.

I found an incredible site/message board for women who are preparing for, and who have gone through hysterectomies, so I've been busy typing away, making lists, and trying to squeeze in three weeks worth of work into this week. OMG, it's insane.

I'll know tomorrw, by 11 am, if it's next Monday. Keep your fingers crossed for me, my daughter doesn't go back to school until the following Monday, so I'll have her as my recovery slave for a week, if I can get in next Monday. If not, my mother may stay in the US, and stay with me. OMG, she's the General, and she's really lacking in the maternal, compassion areas, so on top of having to recover from major surgery, I'll have to listen to her telling me how stupid it is that I even had it to begin with, and that I should just suffer in silence.

Okay, good. At least it was a mental wave. Hehe.

Hey guys I am back!!! Hehe oh my Gosh I have the longest story to tell you all! It has been the week from Hell and I do not say this lightly. It's almost over and if I could I would throw the biggest party. I will go into more detail when I can but I have prying eyes right now and I won't be rude and type mean things while soemone could possibly see it.

Oh crap Tess good luck with the surgery I know you will do great with it you have our thoughts and prayers none the less.
