There is a thread over at SOC that they are going to kill off Dixie. I guess Cady was fired. Supposedly it was in SOD, which isnt usually wrong about these things. The article says that she will be poisoned by mistake. Thoughts are that the killer was after Babe, but Dixie drank the stuff instead
Why would they fire her! I really liked this newer version of Dixie, she really got on my nerves when she was on last time with her affair with David, but now I just LOVE her!
She's been about the only reason I bother to tune in.

I hope that Cady goes back to CBS. At least they know how to write for someone like her. And I thought it was phony at first too, but SOD isnt SID, they usually are right about this stuff. Usually they print it after we already know. And Raven has been threatening for a LONG time that we were losing another Vet, Cady definitely qualifies as a vet. I think this is what will bring back Opal, for poor Palmer
UGH AND GAH. I'm so glad I have't been invested in AMC for quite a whilw. At the very least, I'd like the real behind-the-scenes dramaf or this decision.

aww..I really miss you. Oh and there was a scare at SOC for a bit that with Josh knowing about Tad killing Madden maybe we would lose Tad too. I dont think that the idiots over at ABC would be quite that dumb. Besides, it seems that its only the older women that they have a problem with

And Ugh and Gah is right. I hate AMC. Zoe is the only thing that has me tuning in. I watch for her now, and yesterday's show was AMAZING.
Okay, I'm just reading this now...but what the FRAK?! Why would they bring her back just to get rid of her again?! These people just don't make sense to me. Now maybe she can go back to ATWT and be appreciated. Granted she was kind of irritating this time around, but that doesn't mean they should kill her! She's Dixie for heaven's sake! Hmph.

It's a sad, sad day. Veronica Mars has officially been cancelled.
i really, really hate that cady is leaving & dixie killed off. that being said i think there is a hell of a lot that is going on behind the scenes that we know nothing about.
cady seems to have trouble sticking anywhere very long. she only signed a one year contract when she came back. according to things i've read curruthers said they could not come to an agreement. that agreement may well have been about how vocal cady is.....may have been money.....may have been character direction. we will probably never know.
every decision to leave is not necessarily TPTB's decision. terri ivens chose to leave. supposedly the woman who played erin wanted to leave & was planning to before they let her go....so the decision was essentially mutual.
i'm hoping we get some kind of decent/emotional ending to dixie. i'm HOPEFUL. i don't agree that AMC is in dire condition. i'm enjoying it. i look forward to seeing whree the SLs are headed.
