the Bo/Rex scene

Would Bo really have continued to point the gun at Rex after he realized it was just rex and those were scissors, not a gun??? I didn't get why he didn't drop the gun and say "what is going on here"

weren't the scissors covered in blood...and I guess scissors could still be considered a weapon either way

Police training instinct. You don't lower the gun until the weapon is out of the way. They played it real. As much as Bo likes Rex, Bo's been a police officer for way longer and that instinct outweighs the friendship in this instance.

If I were Bo I would have given Rex, a person I call friend and have no reason to think would have killed Spencer, the benefit of doubt. It seemed so insulting that he wouldn't put the gun down! Did Bo really think Rex was going to be a threat to himself or Antonio. I wonder if the actors ever have any say-so in how a scene plays out. I think the director was just being overly dramatic.

I agree that scene was a lot more dramatic then it needed to be. But it could have been a lot worse. Generally if you have a weapon in your hand and there's a dead body on the floor, police aren't going to exactly ask as nicely as Bo did for you to put the weapon down.

no cop...not even a friend would lower his weapon until the person holding the scissors had dropped it. scissors & knives are considered the most dangerous weapon b/c even after a perp has been shot his anger can keep his momentum going. i had a cop tell me once that his partner had been killed by a man holding a knife AFTER he'd been shot dead. the guy just kept coming.

it was realistic. he had no way of knowing if rex is the one who killed spencer or not....only that he was holding the bloody weapon.
