Tina, have you ever tried watching Y&R? It's really very good right now with a huge reveal today (Canadian, tomorrow for the USA) and it moves along at a great clip. There are some things I'd rather change, but overall, I'm not complaining. It's the best soap on, IMHO.
I don't know what time it airs for you - I can watch it about 6 different times starting at 11 am right through 6 - 7 pm, not that I'd watch it over and over, lol. But it seems to be on quite often, at least with time-shifting.
I feel the same frustration that you do with AMC. I turn it on, but usually leave it on mute. I don't enjoy the stories that are highlighted these days at all.
I could try Y&R, I'll have to see what's on. I noticed alot of stations had news. Then I put on a cartoon for my son. I also like HGTV, but that just makes me want to redo my whole house! And of course that takes money
Where I'm at, Y&R is on before AMC, so they don't overlap. I have picked up Y&R and it's good, but I'm still with AMC. I jumped ship for a while there, but Zarf/Zoe brought me back, and I'm watching again. I don't think I could ever really give up AMC.
