As previously reported, Tuc Watkins will be briefly returning to "One Life to Live" as bad boy and lovable conman David Vickers. However, Soap Opera Network has learned more information about his return to Llanview.
According to TV Guide Magazine, Watkins' character David returns to Llanview after being told by John McBain that his former lover, Dorian Lord is in jail. Watkins tells TV Guide that David has "been licking his wounds on a Caribbean island with no extradition laws. We find out that he fell in love with a Cantonese runway model with a titanium hip, but she got tired of paying for his drinks so she dumped him."
Watkins originated the role of David Vickers in 1994. After leaving the show in early 1996, he briefly returned in 2001 and again in 2002. His latest stint in Llanview lasted from 2003 until November 2006. Watkins also had a recurring role on "General Hospital" as Dr. Pierce Dorman from 1996-1997. He has also made appearances on "Melrose Place," "NYPD Blue," "Six Feet Under," and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." In 1999 he made his film debut in "The Mummy."
While the exact length and nature of Watkins' return are unknown, it is rumored to involve the death of his brother Spencer Truman and the possibility of David Vickers being a long lost Buchanan. Look for Watkins to return as David on Tuesday, March 6th. ============================================================================
Anyone guess that Dorian some how gets arrested for Spencer's murder or in some crazy twist is thought to be the arsonist? Either one would be entertaining because we all know how much Dorian "loves" jail.
