I got hooked in season two so I rented season 1. You can watch the eps with limited commercials on ABC.COM, it's really cool that way, you can stop and rewind and watch at your own pace. I watched again today. I'm really into the show!
on another board i'm on ~~~ totally NON~soap related ~~~ they do a GA thread. they were all convinced that mer was going to die. i said nope, nope, nope....it's a near death experience & denny & bomb squad guy were her guides & there to help her deicde what she wanted to do.
this is my favorite, favorite show!!!
i loved callie getting all up in izzie's grill about george & their marriage. i love izzie to pieces, but some episodes i just want to shake her till her head rolls off her shoulders. i did enjoy her coming back to the hospital & telling christine that she's a ROCK STAR! also loved how she felt denny as she was leaving the hospital. sniff.
so now we know why christine wants to badly to be the best surgeon out there. she watched her father bleed out at the age of nine. what trauma!! i loved how she was stroking meredith's face while not actually touching....at least how it looked to me anyway. reminded me of lily dancing w/jonathan. rubbing mer's feet. what an intimate act by someone who has so many issues w/intimacy & body contact.
christine: meredith, just say one word. meredith: ouch!

i loved how derek was. sitting in the waiting room & just being...not a doc....another loved one waiting for news. trying to save ellis's life after telling her how horrible she'd been to meredith. addison realizing just how deeply derek & mer's feelings are for each other.....and how they never shared that connection.
the 60 celebacy challenge to mark will bring them just about up to the point of the pilot epsisodes for the spinoff scheduled for may.
it was all great...but then it always is. will be rewatching from the abc site this afternoon.
oh & thanks for the heads up about the SOC forum. i never think to look at their primetime forums.

Being new to the show, within the last six weeks, I am not really liking Izzy, I guess that I will have to watch prior seasons to understand and like her character. I love the rest of the cast, and a spin-off with Addison sounds GREAT!
I love everything about the show, I went to the other board for a bit to see what everyone was saying.
I really felt that Meredith did that drowning thing on purpose and was glad she had to admit it.
I love how a prime time show played out the near-death experience and the thing with Denny and Izzie without being Corny! I've read alot about both topics and really appreciate how the writers handled it. It was awesome.
I like the show even more now, if that's possible
I dont get what Izzie has against Callie and George at all. But I still LOVE Izzie to pieces. I guess because of her loss with Denny, she can do no wrong, she's still hurting. Christina was great, I cried so hard!! Even thinking of it now, brings me to tears.
Addison and McSteamy, I think he is so HOT. Even if he is cocky!
GA season 1 is already out on DVD so you can rent it. season 2 is about to be released from what i'm reading. it's worth taking the time to watch them.
george & izzie have always had a special closeness & i don't think it's callie per se she objects to. i think she'd feel this way about any woman george got involved with. yet, there is no romantic connection between the two.
