Hey Moore, do my vague titles drive you nuts? ha ha
I now get soaps at night! When we switched from DirecTV to Comcast we lost our soapnet. well last night I discoverd channel 109, must be new, it's my soaps at night. Some days I might want to watch twice. Cuz actually when I do the live post I'm so busy writing what they are saying, it's hard to really pay attention to what's going on if that makes any sense!
But, that's okay. I'm getting used to it. It's just so strange not to be able to hit a button and merge stuff, but then it also drives me crazy when I'm on the OLTL board, and see stuff that I can't fix!
It's nice to come over here to relax, though, and just to chat... I don't tend to post too much here about the soaps, because I'm going to post my comments on SOC if I want to talk soaps, and I'm TOO LAZY to do it twice! But, I enjoy the chatting because I'm a real talker, as my friends, family, and former boss will tell you.

Well I think that we're lucky because this is a small board, and no one here is setting out to make trouble. We've all gotten to know each other, and we just want to enjoy ourselves. SOC is HUGE, and we have people who go over there with quite an agenda. It makes things very challenging for both the posters, who want to behave, and for the moderators.
If I walk away for an hour, I find that a lot has fallen apart that I have to fix, or I have a mailbox full of reported posts.
I tried to take a more relaxed approach on the AMC board, but it's a little bit like that "doormat" example I gave you in your "Is this rude" thread. So, now I find that I'm going to have to crack down a bit more. It's disappointing...

hey Moore, I popped in over at SOC to try and chat on the board...But I couldnt get past all the complaining. I think there was only one thread there where someone had a positive thread. And I didnt go into it so it probably turned negative. I am gonna pop back in in a couple more weeks and see if all the hate is still there.
That's too bad, you should get some gift cards or something for all that work!
The board used to be a nice one, but alot of people joined and it got out of hand. The one life board is always more tame than AMC, less people though.
Anyone see Annoymous Fan over there? She hasn't been here for a long while, we should re-invite some good posters who might be tired of the arguing there.
AF (Anita) is busy with a new job that has her on the road most of the week. I stay in touch with her through email, although I have been really bad and not sent a chatty email for a while. I'll let her know that you were asking about her. I believe that she and KaeEll also stay in touch. AF sends the best joke emails. She's a great person. We've had a few phone conversations lamenting about our men, and she's just GREAT!
