He has a daughter named Brooklyn. She was around for a couple years. The actress who played her currently is playing Colleen on Y&R. They wrote the two of them off together, Brooke went off with her mother, Lois. Ned went with them and only gets written back in like twice a year.

Ned and Alexis were a great couple for years! They almost got married, but Alexis had some serious marriage phobias. They split, but remained good friends. When she became pregnant with Kristina, Ned actually stepped up and said he was the father. There was some ugliness, and he actually got custody, after she killed Alcazar's brother, and there's the whole Alexis' sister story, which I did not like Ned hooking up with her.
Ned and Lois were a GREAT couple, the original Lois was a hoot, and they actually married in real life. Tons of Quartermaine dysfunction, and that's when Eddy Main was born, Ned's rock star alter ego. Those were the days of L&B Records. Lois and Brenda were best friends, and that's how Jax was introduced to the show.
Ned had some great stories through the years, and was one of my favorite characters. I am seriously hoping that he comes off of recurring, and he and Alexis get back together.
It's always fun that Tracy is his mother..... His father was Lord Ashton, Tracy's first husband. When ned first came to town he was a tennis pro, incognito, and he had an affair with Monica.......
This doesn't really do Ned justice, but he's a great character, with a rich history! Oh, he hates Sonny.....
when ned & lois divorced lois took the then baby brooke lynn (named after the part of brooklyn she grew up in (isn't that SWEET?) back to brooklyn & lived w/or near her parents. a big happy italian family who had given sonny shelter back in the day....fed him, mom mothered him, etc.
ned & alexis were fabulous together. he's always stood by alexis.
i so wish they would put this actor back on contract. oh & btw, when he had the affair w/monica neither of them knew they were aunt/nephew. the quatermains hadn't seen ned or tracy in years at that point. they were horrified when they found out.....even tho there was no blood relationship.

WOW, they brought Ned back?? I really am behind. I also saw in a soap mag on the rack today something that I really don't like. It looks like they might really be killing Alexis off!
Oh Bran, I loved me some Ned back in the day too! Eddie Maine (Ned as a rock star), Ned with Alexis & Lois was classic. I'll never forget Ned and Lois' wedding... Classic GH right there. Ned sleeping with Monica when we first met him.... Ah, the good ole days. My absolute favorite storyline with Ned was Eddie's Angel. It really had more to do with Alexis, however, Ned was a big part of it. Let's just say for a brief period Alexis became a pin-up girl for Eddie Maine (aka, Ned). It was the first time you really got to see a different side to Alexis and the comedy was off the hook.
She's a jealous girl but still sexy as ever!
