I always said I'd never buy one of those baby carrier/papoose things but...

I think I'm getting one tomorrow when we go to Baby's R Us. Actually there are 2. One is just the normal thing w/all the straps and stuff, if I get this I can actually use it while I am doinf my homework instead of being up all night, the other is a sling that helps position the baby for nursing so it'll be easier on my back

Jess its a shame you dont live by me, I have 2 of those that we never used. I always thought they hurt my back, just cause I wore it in the front. I suppose if you wore it in the back it wouldnt be so bad, but for me I have heavy weight in the front anyways with the chest, then you add anoth 10+ pounds with the baby and it was too much.

However I always wanted the big ones for Jojo when she was bigger just because a stroller wasnt always appropriate...But they were so expensive and now she is too big for it anyways...

OH htey have a really cool one in Baby's R Us magazine, but I don't think I'll get it because I don't know how much I'll actually use it. It's only for the back and it's got a special lumbar support bar thing and a canopy as well as a rain shield. I'd get it but I know that something like that would draw Princess Bethany's attention, and she would really want to get into it as well, and I only have one back lol.

I had them but didn't use them. The look more convenient than they are, IMO

ok I broke down and got one, I figured I could always take it back if I didn't like it, but I already do. I am actually able to sit down and type on here, which will make homework a million times easier. Aiden is thoroughly enjoying being snuggled up to mommy's chest. I don't think I would have ever needed it with Bethany, but now that I have 2 little ones this is making things a lot easier. Now I just have to wait until the thing for nursing comes in. That's the most important one for me, I can take it with me to my mom's and other family member's houses and nurse there more comfortably. My mom's couch is the worst for nursing and she has crappy pillows.

I have one! Would you believe I use it when I take my dogs for a walk? My dachaund is 16, and she tires really easily!

You should see the funny looks I get when people get close enough to notice it's a dog poking out of it, Especially in the winter, when I put a hat on her!

Oh my gosh I bet that is a funny sight, but cute at the same time. I bet you do get some odd looks.

Yes, I'm afraid I'm way too big for one of those now.

glad it's working out for you, my middle son was pretty clingy and I used a backpack type thing to get my cleaning done
