Major snow storm in Massachusetts!

Wow, did we get one heck of hopefully winter's last snow storm! I have over a foot of snow, but what makes matters worse, is that we then received freezing rain to cover it. It all makes for an incredibly heavy mess.

Thank goodness for my snow blower, I'll never complain about how heavy it is to push around. I ran out of gas half way through, thankfully after I had the car and end of the driveway cleared. I did not even think twice about going out to get more gas, verses shoveling the rest.

Thank goodness it has been almost two months since my surgery, so I was able to physically do it. I'm going shopping this afternoon, then to the hairdressers for a serious root touch-up, then out for dinner with friends, so I have a busy day planned, and thank goodness my snow removal is completed!

Are you supposed to be doing that?! Find some teenager to clear your drive ;)
I feel bad for you to get that last blast of Winter, Spring seems so far away sometimes, Hope it melts quickly!

The doctor released me for normal activities, and while it was a little bit more physical than I would have liked, it was 100% easier than shoveling. I had a few aches through the day, but I'm really feeling fine this evening, just really tired. There are not any teenage boys in the area, and I didn't think that we would really have anything like this. It was 65 degrees outside the other day.

yeah the weather here is nutso...I was at Sears today and it boggles my mind that I was able to buy my niece a swimsuit while there is snow on the ground here. My sister told me that it was like 95 outside in Phoenix today...

Take a nice hot bath and soak in some Epsom salts...

I want some of that snow!!! We hardly get it around here (we got less than an inch this year) and I really love the snow. That'll change when I move to Wyoming in a few years though, LOL.

You're moving to Wyoming? Doesn't your brother live up there, Jojo? You visited him last year, no? Well, yep, you'll get the snow there, that's for sure. So why are you waiting, Jojo?

The same storm that hit Sophia came here on Friday, but it's melting pretty quickly now. I hope it's winter's last lick, and we'll have spring this year before May. Two years ago, on April 3, the day my little granddaughter was born 6 weeks early, there was a horrible blizzard and my son had a hard time getting his wife to the hospital. They made it just in time, but I'll never forget that day and how winter up here always manages to get the last laugh.

I've set moving to Wyoming as a major goal of mine. A real, tangible goal. It's scary, but I want it so bad. I'm waiting to get Jackson settled in with this medications and everything. I think he's got too much upheaval in terms of what the doctors are doing and stuff to move him just yet.
The main reason is to live up near my brother. I loved it when we went to visit. He promised he's going to get me up there again this year.
