We open with Kevin and Michael talking about how Jana asked for a book on serial killers for Christmas and he gave it to her! Mike receives a call from Bardwell's assistant - he has decided not to prosecute JT. Barwell runs into JT, tells him they are dropping the charges against him, but he might want an anger management programme. JT orders a drink from the bartender at GCAC, then Colleen greets Rocky there, JT scowls.
Daniel's at his computer first thing in the morning - seems he got up extrememly early to work on his paper. Lily rejects his advances for a quicky upstairs as she has class. He's going to continue his work, he says, but checks his email and finds one from Amber, then visits her porn site.
Cane's packing for his trip to Australia tonight. Amber's freaking because she doesn't have the money for a same day ticket. She'll wait until she can book a cheaper ticket and join him. Meantime, she and Daniel are emailing back and forth.
Paul is surprised to hear from Jill that the DNA test didn't show Cane to be her son. He says they will need to find the family of the boy she raised as Phillip, and that may lead them to her real son.
Korbel's at GCAC and Colleen comes to his table for his order. They pretend to be distant with each other, but exchange glances that belie that. JT chats up with Rocky.
Kevin's furious about the news about JT and dropped charges.
Paul tries to calm Jill down about what her mother did so many years ago - says everybody makes mistakes, and getting angry won't get her answers.
Daniel opens his door to Amber who is there for his help with an emergency. She says it's happeneing so fast and she doean't know how to stop it - the going to Australia tonight business. She bought herself some time by telling Cane she'd follow him in a few weeks with a cheaper ticket, but she wants Daniel to help her get out of the situation altogether.
Cane arrives at Kay and Jill's house with a present. He's come to say goodbye as he's leaving tonight. Paul scoots off.
Daniel gives Amber a cup of herbal tea, tries to talk her down about the Australia relocation. He says it'll be an adventure, and judging from her website, she's a girl who likes adventure. Blech - too much Amber pouting today, urging Daniel to participate in camera work etc. Yick.
Korbel stops by to needle JT, denies he had any knowledge of Colleen's date with Rocky last night.
Kevin and Michael find Bardwell at GCAC, confront him about dropping the charges. Bardwell says the attack on Kevin was provoked and a jury would find JT's attack justifiable. Kevin storms over to JT who is still sucking back vodka. It's apparently lunch time now.
Michael barely stops Kevin from attacking JT with a bottle. Kevin asks Colleen if she was responsible for having the charges dropped, she says softly that she didn't know anything about it, suggests he'd better leave.
Ugh, Amber asks Daniel if he's really into Lily. Lily is at GCAC asking Gina to help her prepare a surprise for her husband.
Jill opens the present from Cane - a boomerang. Jill brings up another DNA test but Cane says what's the point, they should cut their losses, and hug. Kay looks on curiously.
A present arrives for Lily at Daniel's place and Amber wants to see what it is, but Daniel says no. Ugh - Amber is adamant she will not move back to where she came from - a trailer in Death Valley where she felt like a freak. She says this here is her life, her future. She finally admits to Daniel that she married Cane because she thought he was a Chancellor and rich, and she wanted that for herself. Daniel's surprised that she knew about this the whole time. He says she isn't a horrible person, just confused.
Lily tells Colleen that JT's problem is that she broke up with him. Colleen's pissed that JT is everywhere she goes.
Michael urges Kevin to let the whole JT thing go.
Cane surprises Amber with the news that he sold his car and bought her a ticket to Australia so she can leave with him tonight. Amber's mortified.
Amber's not thrilled about the ticket and wants Cane to return it right away. She claims it's about the money. She texts Daniel, he writes back that she has 2 choices - go or don't but if she doesn't go, she'll have to tell him the truth.
Jill receives a package from Australia from Cane's uncle - pictures mostly. Kay says they should go through them but Jill thinks not - it would be an invasion of Cane's privacy.
Korbell leaves Colleen a 50% tip, prompting a conversation between them that ends up with them making a date at his place for that night.
Gena offers Lily and Daniel a dinner at GCAC that week, on her, sends her on her way home with a bag of cannolis. JT asks Rocky for his tab only to learn that it had been paid by that guy over there, Korbell. JT looks pretty ticked off by that news, LOL. He almost starts a fight with the professor. Paul breaks it up and Gena orders Korbell out. JT seems quite drunk.
Amber's emailing Daniel about her problem, he writes her that she keep him posted, and good luck. Lily arrives home with her treats, Daniel gives her his present, a red baby doll nightie (like the one Amber's wearing in her video??).
Kay dives into the pictures from Australia, finds one of Cane at 9 months old, then a picturre of Violet, the woman from the bar and she's wearing Katherine's ring. She says this is proof that Cane is Jill's son.
Cane is pressing Amber to hurry up, she says she can't go with him.
