As you know I always try to keep you in the loop whenever a new audition script is released. ABC has just released one for the role of a young couple (Peter and Virginia-a lot revealed in this one) for AMC. This is a really long script (16 pages)! Because we cannot copy and paste these word for word, I am summarizing this for you as best I can. I won't go over every single detail or I would be here all day but will make sure to give you the important details and general gist of the script.

First it opens with a devastated Tad lamenting that he has lost everything. First Kate and now Jenny (baby's new name). The scene cuts to a lawyers office with a couple who is obviously very excited about an adoption (for Krystal and Tad's child). They take out a photo and remark about how beautiful their new little baby Jenny is. It then says that Janet enters the room.

The script cuts to another scene. There is a side note on the script that was rather amusing that simply says Janet is crazy (like we wouldn't have known otherwise). The couple apologizes for being so early and explains that they were just so excited and couldn't wait. Janet says "early for what"? They tell her that they are ready to take their baby home. The script cuts to Adam rushing out of the mansion about to play stork with Krystal's baby (obviously out of sequence but how it reads in the script). Krystal pulls a gun on Adam and tells him to hand the baby over. Janet has become very attached to the baby and seems upset when the couple says they are taking her. They try to break the ice by asking her if she is the nice woman who has been caring for Jenny. Janet ignores them and inches closer to the crib. They begin to explain that the adoption has been finalized and wonder if someone neglected to tell Janet yet because she seems totally surprised. As the couple moves closer to the crib to get a look at their new baby, Janet is visibly upset.

The script cuts back to Krystal holding the gun on Adam. The script says that it's obvious that although there is hate and rage there, they still have unresolved feelings between them. That there is a magnetism still there along with the fury.

The script quickly cuts to a scene where Tad is on the phone and obviously beside himself with worry. He tells Aidan that if they don't find Janet soon, she will hand over his baby to total strangers. Babe asks that someone tell her the minute they have news as she continues to look for where her mother (Krystal) has gone. She and JR both exit together in the scene.

The script takes us back to the scene where Janet is getting more uptight by the minute. She tells the couple that a mistake was made. Peter and Virginia show Janet a photo and insist that they have every right to take the child now. That they were told little Jackie is theirs now (Apparently Janet renamed the baby again while under her care though its obvious the baby's real name is Jenny and will end up Jenny). The script indicates that Janet reacts to hearing the name Jackie realizing that this is not a mistake because they know the name she gave the child. There is a lot of back and forth with Janet trying to reach Adam on his cell getting more and more panicked by the minute. The couple cooing and playing with their new little girl but noticing that something is not right with Janet. Finally Janet begins humming a strange nursery rhyme and suddenly a switch goes off and Janet is sweet and kind to the couple. Offers to get them some coffee cake. They decline so Janet takes the baby and starts talking to it off camera about how its time to get her ready for her little trip etc etc. She acts like she is getting the child ready for them.

A little blurb about Jonathan and Emma playing tag with Emma saying You're it Uncle Jonathan".

The script cuts to Tad walking in and asking Virginia and Peter how long Janet has been gone with Jenny. They say that she just went in to change her and get her ready some time ago...that they are still waiting. Tad looks worried. They soon realize that Janet has kidnapped the baby and stolen the young couples car. They talk about how they should have known something would go wrong. That they should have known better the to take shortcuts and wonder if they are now in trouble. They go back and forth with Tad lecturing them on doing whatever it took to get a baby and that the baby belongs to someone else. He says that the baby's mother is sick with worry right now. Tad becomes enraged and begins throwing things around. Talking about how evil Adam is and rambling on about what he did to Madden and what he wants to do to Adam. The scene thankfully ends because I am losing feeling in my fingers here...lol....
