Kris, no matter what the ages of your kids, they'll still be the kids! In some respects, you'll be doing more parenting now and in the next few years, than ever before. Congratulations, mom!
Congratulations on reaching that milestone. Speaking as the mom of an almost 22-year-old, they always remain your babies!
I just can't wait until mine graduates from college in TWO more months, gets a job, gets an apartment that I am not paying for, and begins to support herself.
The years go so quickly, but the last bits related to financial freedom seem to really be lingering! Thank goodness, the aliens seem to have stopped coming by so frequently and leaving that hormonal moody teenager, darn those were some rough days.
I swore aliens came at night and replaced my beautiful daughter, who loved and listened to me, with that other version of my beautiful little girl....
i've told both of them they will always be my babies & i'll always be their mommy no matter how old they are or how big they get lol.
sarah will be starting college in the fall. she plans to live home until she finishes. she wants to be an interpreter for the Deaf. jarrod is hoping to start the nursing program & the local community colleg (it's a very high rated program)....he might have to wait until january tho depending on finances. he won't be leaving until he gets his associates (if he sticks w/this plan). i'm fine w/them living home.....actually i love it lol.
