Jill and Kay come to the conclusion that the picture of Violet wearing Kay's ring proves that Cane is Jill's son after all, and they drop by his apartment to break the news. Amber had just told Cane that she couldn't go to Australia with him qnd doesn't believe that the two of them are going to work out. Anyway, Kay insists upon a second DNA test and Cane agrees. Jill asks to spend some time alone with her son and Kay and Amber leave them alone. Cane tells his new mom that he can cancel his plans to return to Australia and Jill is thrilled.
Meanwhile, David tells Jack to UN-propose to Sharon, while Saron and Dru are on pins and needles waiting for the results of the board meeting. And Neil gets the seat! Brad, Nick and Victor vote for Neil, Niki and Vicki vote for Niki. Both women are furious with their husbands for the way they voted.
Amber returns to Cane's and finds him unpacking - lots of tension between them. He'll help her find another place if she wants, but no, she blubbers, says she was just scared and she does want to be with him.
Cane calls Katherine a monster, doesn't want anything to do with her, and Jill relays the info to her mother.
Sharon accepts Jack proposal on the way to a celebration at Indigo and Jack announces it to all.
Victoria tells Brad she won't forget about what happened today (in the board room) and storms off. Then Niki carries on to Victor, but Victor shovels it right back at her being his Victor-ness best. Lots of shouting, Victoria hears it and enters. Victor takes off for the celebration at Indigo. Niki tells her daughter that there's no way to fix this.

Paul advises JT that he has to get his anger under control or it could affect the rest of his life.
Phyllis needles Brad and Sharon says that Phyllis is just trying to get a rise out of him. Phyllis counters with "I thought that was your job, Sharon".
