Since I don't watch GH, I'm kind of a lost vote, but I never much liked Gina T. on OL, so my choice would have to be for Rebecca.

I really think that Rebecca could give the role more spunk then Gina could. And I know she has grown up but I always think of Gina as the childish version of Kelly. I havent seen her work on her new show so I cant really judge what her acting has been like.

On the other hand, if Gina not being Brenda means that she will go back to being Kelly on OLTL then I will not be happy. I dont want to see Kelly return without Kevin

Understandable but it's not like recasting hasn't been done to bigger roles. TSJ worked out.


Anyways, I haven't ever seen Gina so I had to go with Rebecca. But I think she'll have good interaction with Maurice. Just seems to fit.

Gina Tognoni, for sure. I just can't see Rebecca Budig doing anything with Maurice Bernard.

i'd much rather see gina in this role. she was a fabulous kelly but more importantly she took the role of dinah & has done a fantastic job w/that.

i just think she would bring more depth to the role of brenda.

DITTO!!!! I just don't see Rebecca as Brenda, not really Gina either, but if I had to pick Gina gets my vote!

I think Rebecca is too soft for Brenda. Gina's got more of an edge.
