Chocolate Crosses....

So.... I was shopping at Target and what did I see but chocolate crosses staring at me.


Ya... I saw them, and I felt weird. Almost a little offended. I get the point but, you're eating one of the biggest symbols of Christianity. It made me feel really uncomfortable for a minute. I mean I'd be more offended if there were little gummy or jelly Jesus and his disciples you could eat, but... still, chocolate cross...


What do you guys think?

Makes ya wonder who buys them though. I can't see myself not being embarassed to take them through the check out.

Oh now I feel bad, I had chocolate crosses for my daughter's baptism and didn't even think twice about eating them!

But if you think about it, we eat his "blood and body", so why not the cross too

well did the crosses actually have like a design for where the body was, if not then I dont think that it would be so bad

I don't mean to sound harsh, but I'm not offended at all by a chocolate cross. Now, this doesn't make me a devil worshipper, but I'm not entirely religious, so I don't have a problem with it at all. To me, it's just candy. Are we supposed to feel bad for eating a piece of chocolate shaped like a cross? I wouldn't. But, that's just me.

guys I swear my personalities are fighting now lol. I'm sitting here staring @ the chocolate cross mydad gave me (he's a preacher) now part of me says don't eat it it's fattening one says hey it's a cross maybe you'll get somedivine help (yeah that's naughty jess) the other now pops in with the whole it's a cross thing. I think I should go back on my diet now

See? That's just it. One of the local churches gave them out during the Easter service here. To me, it's just candy,and nothing offensive was meant by their manufacturers.
